because the torque of 2 cylinders is quite large compared to the torque of 4 cylinders, many are comparing 4 cylinders vs 2 cylinders, for example zx25r vs cbr250rr, 2 cylinders are enough with a performance upgrade, so that, in order to compete with 4 cylinders

You can't. The price in Indonesia for zx25r is equivalent to N400. Some people will grab the higher displacement rather than the 4cylinder. Different taste. Some want more power, some just to show off.

Here in the Philippines, The ZX25R sounds so good that you could trick some officers to enter it in expressway (our expressway only allows 400cc and up)

With a motorcycle it's just that more important to think twice before passing anything on the road, I know speed and sports bikes and all but still the margins of error on a bike are most times unforgiving and razor thin, you can skip ahead of someone but only if you're as sure as you can be. Ninja 400 - Zx6r - H2 is gonna most likely be my buy order. Currently have the 400. That zx6r is a massive step from the 650, and nearly as fast as the zx10r 🤔

Of course it will, it has 1000cc vs 636cc, however, the difference is negligible. It all depends on the rider. In a straight line, ZX-10 & in twisties, the 636 can easily come out ahead. Rider > Machine.

@@eljefe9377 about zx6r , can it theoretically pass 300kmh mark ? by doing ECU reflash and/or less restrictive air filter but keeping stock exhaust system for noise regulations and also will it help at midrange band with more linear torque? by fuelling timing remap because I particularly hate the torqueless pit Below 11k and Instant boost beyond 13k rpm ?

2nd gen (06) zx10r owner here. Also own a 93 zx7. Both are fast bikes. The 10r is just quicker. Did 150mph on the 7. Haven't had the chance to top out the 10r. So much power....

In the late '90s I rode in the championship of Belgium with an Aprillia RS250 and there was a class where whe rode with Kawasaki GSXR400. The Aprilia's did 225km/u and Kawasaki 220km/u. So now more than 20 years later they are much slower!

@@NotAWomble The thing I want to say is that the bikes now much slower are than 20-25 years ago. Before the 250 I was driving with a Aprilia RS125 in the Championschip and the top speed was 175-180km/u. The 4-strokes now are much slower than the 2-strokes in the past!

@@pascalhantson7493 Yeah 4 stroke and 2 stroke engines are barely even the same kind of beast. 2 strokes are starting to make a comeback now that they are working on direct injection and other techs that may make them cleaner than 4 strokes while still maintaining the 2 stroke power.

I'm pretty sure all that matters is; acceleration from 45mph to 75mph and 65mph to 110mph. At least on the roads I ride. So to me it is more of a power-curve thing. Stick with small 4 cylinders on the roads if you want to live, learn, and enjoy riding.

My girl did 215 few times on her Ninja 400 2018. Can confirm that the 300 hits 199, too.

I love my ninja 650 but I think I’d love to have a zx10r, anything with more power and I’d end up dead

Look at the 1000sx, basically a bigger version of the 650. All the goodies like cruise control, lot more power, still as comfortable though. Much better as a daily than the 10r.

I don't know man. I falled in love to the ninja 400 😅 and ofc the zx4r. Is my dream bike the H2R? For sure Am I freaking die if I try with my current level? For sure 😂
