I got the Evotech tail tidy instead. It’s very high quality. Didn’t have any issues with bolts stripping or having to glue anything. Also all the wires are concealed. I did get a good idea on how to remove the tail section from your video. Thanks for the great content!
Is the Evotech tail tidy adjustable (does it allow for panniers with factory signals?) Just curious :-) The bolts were definitely unexpected - especially the length of bolts with the USB port. I'm not sure why mine was stripping with the adjustment bolts - not sure if the finish messed up the threads or what happened. Hopefully not everyone's is that way. Thanks for watching!
@@BlueEyedRider84 The Evotech tail tidy is not adjustable but sits in the perfect spot. Allows the use of the side cases and it’s a two part unit that conceals all the wires and looks premium
@@BlueEyedRider84 I installed the Tail Tidy today. I set it up completely "pulled out" so it fits with the paniers and it all looks really good. But when I change it (slide it in, so to say) to have it as near to the back light as possible the cables look really ugly. I can't hide them because they can't be pushed/stuffed/slid into the area under the back seat. How do you do this?
I am so sorry I didn't see this - I never seem to get notifications on comments that are replies to previous comments. I am going to take a look at mine as soon as I get a chance just to see exactly what you are describing (I always have mine pulled out) - though I do not have signal wires on mine so it may be difficult to see exactly what is going on.
@@BlueEyedRider84 Thank you very much for your answer. Absolutely no problem that it took some time 🙂 Oh yes I should have known that it's just one cable on your bike. That makes it a lot easier. And btw your backlight looks awesome. Unfortunately it's not legal in Germany. Turn signals have to have a distance of 180mm to each other. My plan is to design a cover in a CAD software that is then 3D printed. But I have to learn some bits how to form the angles and roundings.
What should be lubricated on the motorcycle and what to lubricate it with can be a new video, all your videos are excellent and very well explained, thank you for sharing.
Great video thanks however I unbolted the bolts that hold the seat lock mechanism now I have a cable with the mechanism on the end floating about any idea on how to replace can’t even work out which way up it goes 🤦🏻♂️
Wow - I don't know how I didn't see this comment. Did you figure it out? If not I will have to pull the cover off and see if I can help guide you into reattaching it.
I've been debating a motorcycle review just because so many people do them, but I guess a personal overview of the motorcycle wouldn't be a bad video to make. I'll add it to the list.
@@BlueEyedRider84 for sure there's a fair amount but it's slim pickins for english ones. I guess its for guys like me looking to buy one and we cant get enough vids. xD
