Do you know the brand of the 'chrome covers' that you're pointing at on 11:40 and that are on both sides, each the same looking and having a bit of a square form. I heard that they're covering the battery. What's the brands name or being more specific where can you buy those ?
when it stalls when cold motor at 15000miles when throttle up, then what should be the issue. the bike i want to buy does it and needs allot of shoke and high idle .
+stefaan adriansens Hi Stefaan. On a bike that age, it could be many things. Could be something as simple as old petrol. Or it could be that the carb needs a good clean or is worn out, or needs a new air filter and spark plug. Could be a perished vacuum hose or inlet manifold leak. Could be a fault in the ignition system, faulty coil or broken down HT lead. Worst of all could be a leaking head gasket. If the asking price is a bargain, it might be a good idea to get a mechanic to take a look at it before handing over any money. Does the bike look well looked after or neglected. If neglected, chances are the rest of the bike will require work.
stefaan adriansens if you crack the throttle and it pops turns off it's usually the accelerator pump people like to mess with it to make it accelerate in thier mind faster.....I had to fix mine
