certainly has changed a lot since I left in the late 80s. Been back a couple years ago for funerals but didn't get to see what's changed. Is that bridge the new one over the town basin heading towards Onerahi, if so is the old one by the pools still there, actually are the pools still operating
Sure has. Yip, the new bridge links up to Riverside Drive, to help get people to Onerahi faster. The old bridge was turned into a pedestrian bridge. That's the one with all the colourful lights in the beginning of the video. They built a new vehicle bridge directly next to that too. The old pool have changed. They are now inside the Whangarei Aquatic Centre :)
