Had both and also toured on both. Had the Road King for 4 years, put 40,000 miles on her touring the US. Out of a dozen bikes I’ve had the ZRX and King were at the top of my list. Really easy to get into trouble on the ZRX. That throttle becomes a drug. 🤓
I ride a 2003 Kawasaki ZRX1200R . Mine isn’t near as modded as much as yours but I still love it. 55,000 miles so far. I’ve only put a slip on,jet kit and a K&N air filter.
@thecutrate1 She's in the shop right now but can't wait to get her back. She was leaking oil out of my valve cover gasket. So they are going to replace the gasket, adjust the valves, sync the carbs, flush the radiator ,and brakes . Fresh fluids. Hopefully she'll run like new again. She's been boggy in hot weather. Hopefully the radiator flush will fix that.
@@thecutrate1 I do a lot of content for my business and I know it can be super draining. Having said that, you’ve got best stuff coming right now. The variety has been keeping it all very interesting. Great quality as well!
I can’t take the credit though. It was built by a guy named Dan combs. I just own it now. I did/am going to make a few small changes but it’s 99% ghere
I had a 2000 ZRX 1100 rode it for 6 yrs traded in for a ZX14 , but I do want to find one ,because it was a lot of fun to ride I have a ZX14R now by far the best bike I've owned
Very sick build, I currently own a 1100 with some light engine work done and some Kawasaki oem part swaps around the chassis. Just wondering where the tank grips were from, thanks in advance!
I agree. My first bike was a 99, 1100 in the green I didn’t care for it much so I was able to source a real green tin set from Japan that I ran for a number of years which I actually still have. It’s a much better color.
