Chris Cross you need to do more research before posting a dumb comment like that. It is definitely a ZX9R. I owned a 94 B1 model for 12 years and I know these bikes inside out. A 95 is a B2 , 96 is a B3 and they finished the series with the B4 in 97. The B3, B4 models had the rear grab rails among some much needed improvements from the previous models. As for the B1 designation I'm pretty sure from memory it is stamped as part of the VIN on the head stem. I doubt the compliance plate would show this. I sold mine around 5 years ago and going from memory on these. All the best to all.
I own a 1993 ZX6 and a 1996 ZX9R. Differences: - ZX6: one vent on the lower fairing. - ZX6: one piece seat. . - ZX6: flush mounted rear and front turn signals. - ZX6: wider tail but sharper slope to the windscreen. - ZX6: mirrors mount to a pivot post, not directly to the front fairing. - ZX6: strip of moulding between the upper and lower front fairings - ZX6: no nitrogen cylinder under the tail. - ZX6: No front fairing support. - Different gauges. - ZX6: has 4-way flasher button..
I received a 1995 Kawasaki Ninja ZXF 600. I am trying to find this bike online but the closest thing I can find is this. Any suggestions? On the ownership it is classified as a ZXF , Is this a mistake on the papers? or is there really a ZXF made in 1995. Mine has headlights and fairings from a 09 model so its hard to tell by the look of it.
