I ziptie a chunk of pipe unsulation across the front thwart that works well as a quiet gun rest that wont beat you weapon up. Works well.

How easy it to pull sled behind the boat extra items not easily fitting in boat? Like decoys. Than you could just pull it behind you when setting out and picking decoys up>

Practice, practice, practice. I flipped my H12 in frigid skim ice water last year because I failed to spend time practicing my mount and dismount in the summer. Needless to say I’m going to take advantage of someone’s pond this summer for testing and training when the water is 85 degrees.

So about 3 years ago I told the wife i would never get in a kayak unless it had a trolling motor! Now after listening to the podcast and this video i want a smaller boat!

Did you get the r3d head layout cover for it? I am getting a h12 this weekend and then save for the blind cover. I have the delta waterfowl zero gravity layout blind hoping I can make work if I can’t get one before the season.
