I did the same thing. One thing I learned is to round the corners off. I didn't the first time and it eventually wore a hole in the case.

I would recommend placing thin double sided tape between the plastic card and your phone if you want someone even more secure

*that* is a good idea too; that and using inside the phone a piece of plastic that lasts !... to be sure, i would use 3 or 4 layers of PET plastic cut from a soda bottle.

This is awesome! Was just looking into straps on Amazon like this but people complained that the fabric tab coming out would tear. This seems so much more secure and a lot cheaper. Thank you!

This is pretty much "awesome". I have old credit cards and also have many key rings on hand, so no need to buy those two. Love the shock cord (pretty smart). Thanks for a great video!

couple of questions/remarks: - isn't it preferable to use a grommet/eyelet in te card so the wire doesn't fray? - how about rounding the edges? - and what about fatigue on the lip? It'll bend back and forward in your pocket eventually, won't it? How'd that work in real life?

I'm thinking that if u want to really make it stronger..duck tape that plastic t with the hole,directly to the back of the phone with a long strip of duck tape..that way if the phone gets knocked out the case, u still have the phone secure to the line..
