another great video, and i think it also shows ,just how much you should be prepared for the open sea in a kayak,, especially somewhere like the BC where the tides are obscenely strong. a friend and i have been debating getting into kayak fishing, but we need to put a lot more thought into our preperation.
Hi, it's a military laundry bag to keep my catch. I use a pair of Sundridge thermal fingerless gloves for most situations. When it's very cold I have a pair of waterproof ski gloves to paddle in or just to wear if things get too cold.
You need the anchor to ly as flat as possible so that it digs in and grips, especially when there is a tide. If you just drop the anchor it'll be stood upright and just bounce along.
