In this video we take ourselves for a paddle up a threatened freshwater river , do a bit of fishing, set up a day camp , get a fire going, bbq some tukka and soak in the sounds and smells of the aussie bush at Lake Lyell
Lake Lyell , Farmers Creek , Mount Walker and the Platypus community up farmers creek are under threat from Energy Australia and can be STOPPED ! Go here to find out more www.youtube.com/@clcgroup6748

I am with you, leaving rubbish, digging big holes etc etc etc is totally annoying. Playtus was pretty cool, been a while since I saw on in the wild. I think I bought that same grill from Amazon about a week ago as a back up 😛 I saw a white bellied sea eagle out in the Brindabella's a few weeks back, bit weird! Never a bad spot next to a lake or a river I reckon, that sunset trip home was top shelf, great stuff.
yeah it seems some people are just absent minded or have no idea idk . but they need educating There are heaps of platypus there unfortunately that farmers creek section where all the platypus are is under threat by Energy Australia . They want to dig and excavate the crap out of farmers creek to build a pumped hydro plant . hopefully the people can stop it from happening ! if you want to find out more check it out here www.youtube.com/@clcgroup6748 it's pretty bloody disgusting really , what they are proposing Its a great grill Makes a great camp fire and uses hardly any wood . White bellied sea eagles tend to travel pretty far from the sea . I dont know how many are there but we often see one when paddling Lake Lyell I love a sunset paddle back . Its a shame the gopro struggles in low light Thanks for the comments and watching . I am looking foward to more of your vids . Happy Camping
I think it was a big turd that that walked off and left that hole there lol . Yep maybe they dug out a plant . I did find a few other smaller holes around too and filled them in , so maybe plants Nope no fish no bites this time . I am sure we will catch some trout and redfin there soon as the weather warms up but I think we might need to get some more fishing tips of you .from your channel Thanks for watching and commenting . happy yaking
