Great video, I have big snook, big reds,, Big Jacks , Big black drum in the river, 7 foot black tip, sail fish and king off the east coast, but I have yet to land a tarpon in the kayak. And you are so right, finding useful information online is extremely difficult. Its very hard and can be very dangerous landing a big fish in the kayak, because balance is always a factor. A second kayak, getting to shore or even having out riggers on your kayak to help with balance, make landing the monsters easier. Im in the bay area, and always love meeting up with new folks, so if anyone wants to meet up give me a shout and we can exchange contact info.

Nice work, you got the leader in the guides so it is a caught fish. Went 3-3 myself last week at a local bridge, then God dropped 13 inches of rain in SWFL, and all the fish have move downriver to the gulf.. I try never to use the curse word dialed in with tarpon because I feel like it equal to catching a fish on the first cast. 😂

Do you ever fish off the coast of clearwater beach area? I have a kayak also. I'm wondering if the fishing is better offshore a little bit. I have a ocean Malibu pedal kayak with scotty stabilizer pontoons

Hey there, I have a few times! The bay side is great. Topwaters early in the morning and nice 4" swimbaits do well.
