If you are looking to catch redfish, trout, and snook in Sarasota, consider fishing flats that drop off into a channel. As the tide is incoming, fish the side of the mangroves that the current is directly hitting. You can sometimes find fish on the calm backside of the mangroves, but I always have better luck and find more activity on the side the current is hitting.
