First of all I would like to apologize for my hiatus…between my sister having a baby and my grandparents in very poor health, to working 50+ hours a week…I haven’t even had any time to myself. My sister is finally healing from her cesarean surgery. Mom is doing well. Grandparents are declining but stable…so finally I am here. My work. Creating. Where my passion flourishes.
This is the last day from mine and Mom’s mini trip to St Simons Island.
The marshes scare me. Mud. Maze like canal ways with grass so tall you could so easily get lost. Crabs that will eat anything…so of corse I decided to kayak them. Kayak the marshes I did…I google satellite researched the marsh area very well. Made sure I had service, sunscreen, and water, and let my location be known to family…then I set out on a scary adventure.
I ended up catching 2 crabs . and one catfish. Not what I wanted but I had a good time.
It’s safe to say…I have not much interest in kayaking the marshes anymore. I think I’ll stick to clear water 😅😄
