I have started my mods for the Kayak. Some ideas that I think will make for good fishing.

Enjoyed the video. I live in Tulsa so I have a multitude of small boat water within a short drive. I am a senior citizen and a widower and to be truthful, am tired of lugging around a big boat. I have gone the inflatable route but truthfully I think I will enjoy this more. I bought the 10 foot because my pickup is a toyota tacoma which only has a 6 and a half foot bed. I don't want to screw around with a trailer, so this is the best option.

You could use some toggle bolt anchors on it so it would have a nut on the other side.

Use Scotty Well Nuts and Fasters to mount your mounts !

Check out that polymorph plastic stuff on Amazon. I bought some of this stuff and it works great for molding anything you can think of . I'm buying a pelican catch 120 this up coming season and this is how I plan on making small parts and modifying mine for how I want it.

When you mounted the flush mount rod holders did you use self tapping screws or rivots?

Use a kayak paddle lanyard or a Scotty Paddle Clip and forget about it !

Well, I been working with all the tools I can carry. I am using a jigsaw, hand saw, dremmel, Dewalt screw driver and a lot of elbow grease. Slow but what else will I have to do. Feel kinda rushed right now with just four weeks to get it done and get out. Using fewer tools reminds me of being younger and broke...lol .
