Kayak Trout Fishing at Lake Chabot

Killin 'em on my kayak at Lake Chabot in Castro Valley California...I started to do more and more Kayak fishing and realized this is the way to fish. Now it is hard for me to shore fish. These next couple episodes I trouble shot and refined my kayak fishing.

Oh yeah! Nothing beats fishing from a kayak! My average trout so far from Lake Chabot is 7 lbs. all on lures!!! They hit harder and fight harder when they hit a lure :-) Keep up the cool vids! :-)

Dang bro. I was there yesterday 7-3 on the Yak....Skunked! ...threw hundreds of cast to the bank and tullies. Not one bite..Cranks and Plastics. a Frog earlier. I need to hit the dam side next time...

Right?! ....This was the main reason I like this kayak and its a sit in side helps with those chilly windy days. Most are over 75 lbs. dry.

Yes. Keep your kayak receipt. You will need it at DMV.

Theres a form on the DMV site to fill out in that case. I'm not sure how they handle that. Check out DMV's website. Good luck bro!

From my experience when I don't, these Lassens break off. I run 4lbs test. Plus its fun to hear drag...Who doesn't want to hear drag?
