I think this is one of the better mod vids for the SG. Even though I have seen most of these mods before, it explains them much better than the rest and is easy to understand and has none of that loud music which is unnecessary.

Great setup! I've seen several of them on RU-vid. I was considering doing the same thing but I do a lot of saltwater fishing and I'm not sure it will hold up to the harsh saltwater
Maddog Fishing if I was saltwater fishing I’m not sure I would trust it either. But I’m not familiar with corrosion from saltwater so my doubt would be from fear and not knowledge lol.
I’m adding the LED rocker switch like you did. I ordered the switches but was wondering what you used for the square backer and did it hold ok with the thickness of the kayak material? Thx
SwitchbackXThunter that was something I worried about because the rocker switch by it self had no rubber washer or anything to fit on the back end of it and there are no screws to hold it on place. So only thing I came up with was to seal around it good with marine goop. Only reason I purchased the rocker switch separately was to fix the fact that I should’ve initially went with the 4 panel switch instead of the 3 panel. There is a four panel switch on amazon that has a rocker switch on it and is water proof with rubber washers and a lock ring on the back like the 3 panel option.

Ranger77 when I was running that battery with that fish finder I could get two full at least 5 hour fishing trips out of it. I never really ran gopros from it but i can imagine it wouldn’t change much.
Hey man when you installed the voltage meter dash, how was drilling into that front plate? Because I saw on the recent SG models they have their vibe logo and name on there versus older models where it was perfectly flat. Thanks.
Dom Bogey mines has the logo on there and it was a little work. I made my middle hole there and pretty much lined it up the best I could using a paddle bit. Do to the logo making the surface uneven and even though the panel says it’s waterproof I still used a little marine goop underneath. I wonder if a hole saw bit would’ve made it easier but I don’t own any so I just used a paddle bit.
