We went kayaking on the Colorado River. We started in Parker, Arizona & paddled 11 miles. it was one of the toughest we've done, as it was sold paddling with no current. it was rough!
This was an organized event scheduled with Q24. We used our own kayaks. Although it was tough, looking back, I'm glad we went because man did this video make me laugh!

What a great day! It was a killer for sure 😃But we made it, and we can see Yes, we did it! There was a long section that you could not stop paddling or the wind pushed you back farther. I love seeing our kayak paddle through your eyes❣

It was a good but exhausting day! And yep, Rob said the same. We were going backwards at times when we weren't paddling so it was like noooo!

Had a good laugh at your expense watching this, but you were both real troopers. Kayaking for Q25? 😉

Thanks for this video and reminding us how hard it was to paddle ALL DAY! We laughed at our expense as well and really enjoyed spending the day getting to know you guys. And you’re right, you had to be there but it sure was nice once we got to land except for the part of no bathrooms at the pick up point. That’s why we booked it out of there so fast. I’m with you. I feel we had a head wind almost the whole trip. I was surprised that we were only sore for a day as well. So glad we went but if we do it again I say we get that Uber at the half way spot. 😏 until we meet again safe journeys.

🤣😂🤣😂 I'll Uber with you! 😂🤣😂 yeah it was a tough one! If there had been more of a current, it would have been amazing! We kayaked the Colorado River in bullhead city/laughlin last April & barely had to paddle. It's crazy there was that much of a difference in current like 2ish hours north of Parker. We enjoyed the day getting to know yall, too! Oh, you're in our Desert Bar video, too that we just posted today! I got you showing/telling me what yall were eating. Apparently I was just living in the moment there cause I really didn't take many videos or pictures so the video's shorter than most of ours but it was a fun day, too!

At least you two looked like professional kayakers.

Glad this old man did not go. Did a 75 mile canoe trip in the mid 80's in Alaska that was enough for me.

Oh wow! That sounds like quite the adventure! We haven't made it to Alaska yet but trying to decide how to do Alaska. Do we RV or just do a cruise? We love cruises, too!

@@theRovingVets You can do both drive one way and cruise the other. I was stationed there from 70 to 72 and 82 to 86 it is great. you will love it. Was just glad I was going with the current. We be in the Q24 area for at least an other week.

We were pretty sore the next day. But thankfully was better the following day. My shoulder is just bad anyways so nothings changing that any time soon.
