Macaws actually need lots of toys they can get extremely bored without them and will pluck out their feathers. I hope these birds are doing great still

yes they are so loved! problem with our macaw is that new toys only last for 3 days. if i have no budget to buy toys I give him papers in a box to shred with treats inside and other DIY toys for macaws. good thing he loves it!
