We flew from Kazakhstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on Air Astana to cover the The World Nomad Games! They are basically the olympics for nomadic CRAZY sports. It was off to a (literally) bumpy start, but the opening ceremony was breathtaking and got us very excited for the next week! Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this RU-vid channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

Take a couple of millennials, deprive them of sleep, put them in a tiny room in a totally alien country and they *still* manage to be enthusiastic about an opening ceremony in an unknown language lasting hours! This is the reason I keep watching - keep going you two! I love you both. 🤗 🤗

@@lewishague123 Its very nice in May there, depending where you are going from 60 to 85 degrees i would say. Note, if you are planning to go hiking/camping in higher altitudes it can be chiller, especially early mornings and evenings. Nature is breath taking!💗

I can't even believe their mad drone skills on the go and out of nowhere and that specific drone's superiority! How can it even fly THAT high and THAT far out, doing crazy crisp fabulous panoramas like that??! And it is HILARIOUS how you are complaining and confused about everything because I understood everything since I’m from Kyrgyzstan. The “resort” is called a pansianat which is where “traditionally” everyone goes to during the summer. The ocean like lake is called issyk kul. And understand the language that they speak in during the show which is very helpful
