One thing I respect about tmm is how he throroughly explains his tactics, and doesn't just leave it at, "this is very strong, try it". Explaining how it can be applied to high level play is very helpful, and I'm not even a kaz main.
"kAzUya dEseRvEs aLL tHe bEst." Like typical TMM fashion, his comment section must contain this bot that types how bad it wants to stroke Kazuya's meat in any video regarding the character and nothing else, except maybe the occasional Jin shade.

@@YungKuroKami What makes it better is you don't really have to apply just the fifty-fifty. That's naturally his weak side so now if he throws an electric you have to block it or duck. And that goes for anything that was able to be side stepped left. So you just got to hold that pressure.
They gave a rebirth to Kazuya's T5 wall ender, it does save them from the wall though in most cases unless you can roll them into the corner to the left.
I don't care what anyone says but TMM is the true Grand Master of Kazuya. The sheer knowledge of the character! First the Masku tech and now this! I wanna use one more heavy word- Pinnacle of Kazuya gameplay!
Really makes me miss his tekken 7 b2,4 > df1,4 but yeah b2,4 > df2 is way more consistent than the df3+4 string, and the wall preventing SSL/SWL is really nice yep.
Yeah, I do this wall combo most of the time unless I know the DF3+4 string will kill. It's really good. But it can whiff too from SSR I believe, but it's rare.
I feel like you are pushing the character way harder than everyone else. There may be players who know more matchups or have better execution or better tournament experience… But what you do seems unique and optimal and Tekken 8 specific
I was playing against a Kazuya yesterday and he did this wall combo instead of the general one and I was wondering why he is doing this, I guess I found out why.
been doing a version of this combo since tekken 7. 3,1 into df2 but i always run up and do db4 but i like how main men says its a broken thing for kaz but its his GO TO way to apply vortex bc if you just try to apply after knockdown there just going to press. kazuya is just awful playing you have to be inside the game to play with him with more frame iq against high level when they can just press to beat your go to options yeah df2 is a good against mashing but momentum change is going to eat kaz bc of all the plus frames strings these other characters have. in my opinion let him stay with his identity with hard to play but give him some more plus frames please his little sister is broken compared to him this is wrong
Yeah thats what I was thinking too. Wouldn't df14 1+2 be better since it does like 2 less damage and if they do anything besides tech roll, db4, ff4 or any other ground hitting move is guaranteed. Then if they tech roll they stay at the wall. Also db4 and ff4 tracks and realigns to tech rolls.
Suggestion for Kazuya Obviously fix the Jab and the Down Foward 1 moves of Kazuya. Hit box and wiffing issues. Suggestions Trade Back 2,2,1+2 it's useful but compared to Tekken 7 Back 2,1. It doesn't compare. Bring back Tekken 7 Down Back 2. As a compromise they can also have 1,2 [2,3] Dead useless move and they can have all Lazers not in Devil Form. The Down Back 2 already in Tekken 8 just revert it to it's Tekken 7 form. I think Trading 2,2,1+2 for Tekken 7 Back 2,1 would open up Kazuya combo creativity and potential. I don't have to explain this we all love and know the potential of Tekken 7 Back 2,1 Highly Doubt they'll replace 2,2,1+2 with Tekken 7 Back 2,1. But since it's already in the game I really hope they'll take Down Back 2 and revert it back to Tekken 7 properties. That with the Down Foward 1 and Jab hit box wiffing issue. Is all I'd like to see buffed on Kazuya. Thinking about it. It's only 1 Buff maybe two if they give the Jab more range. But the buff would be getting Tekken 7 Down Back 2. The rest would be bug fixes. Do u think this is a fair request to ask for and not to much for Kazuya Buff. I'm not asking for anything that wasn't in Tekken 7. Just asking for it to return. For Devil form maybe the stomp buffed and range going into heat. If the rest is fixed. Then I don't see a difference. Nothing that different between Kazuya and Devil Kazuya he get his stomp lazers and keep out move. I can think of more but it would be asking to much. For example Down Forward 4,4 being 0 instead of -4 on hit. Giving more frames to Down Forward 1 moves. Making Forward ☆ Down Down Froward 1+2 more useful. Why use it besides in some combos when u have Forward Foward 2. No fix the Down Foward 1 moves and Jab issues hopefully bring back Tekken 7 Down Back 2. That's the buff I'd like to see the most the rest is bug fixes basically. The back 2,1. That's a wet dream very very doubtful but would trade 2,2,1+2 no doubt about it and it would open up Kazuya combo's. That's too OP people would shit themselves if Kazuya got that.
