@@Zlatko815 Lee is kinda infamous for having limited mixup options. The options he does have aren't that good. Lee is mostly about counter hit and reads. You get good at reads to take advantage of a nasty counter hit, then use that as a gateway to sick lengthy combos and wall carries. The issue with Lee is he doesn't really have a way to open opponents up (since tekken 4) besides his reads => counter hit pipeline.
@@LordMoebius Lee's slide mix up is not as strong as Law's or Shaheen's because he doesn't have the same range with dangerous mids, but it's still a good mixup tool. Saying he doesn't have some good mix-up with it is on you imo. Sure he is more CH and poke focused but still a good tool. It's not like Heihachi where he doesn't have any lows apart from db2 (which is reachable offline) that can open you up.
@@Zlatko815 I said he had limited options, not none. The ones he does have are... Okay. The main problem with Lee has always been it takes a substantial amount of execution to get the most out of his kit. It takes more effort with Lee to get the same job done than it would with other characters. If he had more mix-up options and openers he'd be higher rated on tier lists. People don't play Lee cause of his mix-up game cause his mix-up game... Well it's not good it's average a best.
Man remembering the old days when these two where rivals and brothers too bad they needed real mishima blood. I like Lee better than Jin as Kazuya rival Jin a good character just my preference
Tbh if anyone should have a real showdown with Kaz, it's Lee. They have a longer history. They grew up together for crying out loud! I'm frustrated that their relationship isn't expanded more upon. Instead they'd rather go with this old boring bullshit father/son feud that makes no fucking sense in Jin and KAZUYA'S case. Pfff!
Lee still is rivals with Kazuya and Heihachi. Sadly, he hasn't played much of a part in the main Mishima bloodline story since maybe T5 at the latest. I miss when Lee was viewed as Kazuya's only equal (besides Heihachi).
@@BrolyLSSJ01The Hei vs Kaz rivalry is long gone baby. That ended in T5 and always will be. Now its time for Lee vs Kaz back. Jin can have his rivalry with Hwaorang while Lee with Kaz
Connection has been so good in my first experience. Haven't had anything under full bars and have had no connection issues but I haven't tried playing someone overseas or anything
I just played psn east coast to west coast of the US for a couple of hours (the fact that I could even play that long). Before the update I struggled to break throws a couple states away on pc. On ps4 throws were nigh unbreakable even with people in my state. This session I was breaking his throws on a coast to coast on a psn 4 bar. Update is pretty good
@@leperique It takes months ,if not years, of practice. For the basic, you just need to get the 3rd and the last hits right. So input the first 2, listen to the sound, and condition yourself to tap the last 2 at the right timing. I believe we only get 3 frame window to get each input right.
devil jin hell sweep got a slight nerf, but his uf4 is better, not s1 level still, db2 knock down on counter hit now. Jin got a nice new wall combo, but he lost his magic 4, it’s now just screw
@@davidchu2001 I would not call the hell sweep change a nerf. I'd rather have plus frames than a knockdown where the opponent can tech out of and obtain neutral position
It would be cool if literally any youtuber can make a video discussing the tekken prowess a little more in depth considering it’s not that well known, maybe something explaining how it increases, or what you need to get different colors, I know that main man might’ve explained it already but I don’t think he talked about what some colors requirements are.
This lee is great, doesn't rely on flowcharts and i have no idea what he's going to do next. But barely uses the new move 'cuz its useless" and the new combo from D2 because it's incredibly unreliable to hit online.
I hope TMM uploads the Lars he played right before this lee, the Lars was really good and showcased his season 4 buffs but he was beating TMM quite a lot idk if he wants that on RU-vid lol
If someone can help me. I’m using xbox one controller, after the update my trigers are suuuuper sensitive if i even brush my finger it activates a move. Anyone know a solution. Before i had to pres it way down for it to register which is better. Now i accidentally press them without almost touching them
1:27 even the mishima master fucks up his electrics. If you ever mess up a combo in game and feel bad about your skill. Just watch the Kazuya god himself drop a combo.
I wanna know how the netcode is on ps4 and xbox hopefully its good. I never played ps4 tekken online cuz it sucked i mainly played with friends offline
@@LordMoebius I don't know if it's possible to stop a mishima spamming electrics but a ff+4 will at least get them to say bs and question spamming like a madman.
I’m in Australia and i played against a player from Asia and holy shit the online improvement is too good there was not much lag it was as of i’m playing on a 3 or sometimes 4 bar connection. Did anyone else tried playing against other region?
Also from Straya, played for hours last night against some people from Asia and even Europe. Holy crap it's so much better. Even against wifi warriors.
Thay mist step is a crucial part to his arsenal. The cancel into sway takes well times execution and practice. I've tried it online and its so risky, if you want to mix it up at range then sure. But you'll most likely never come out on top of a 50/50.
Controversial opinion: I don't think the online experience is that much better so far in season 4 (at least for me). Been getting a lot of "5 bars" that actually feel like a 2-3 bar
He requires lots of execution to use, so he’s viewed as being too risky for consistent use in tournaments. Imo, I just think pros are afraid of the swag.
@@Love-Sensibility If Lee is your main, you can do quite well with him. But unless you’re as good as Iamyourfather, you’ll struggle in tournaments. Your execution will worsen the more matches you play. That’s why you’ll see characters with lower execution requirements more often than him.
11:55 Paul got nerfed hard 100% they basically shit on his personality and this guy pretending as if he got buffs😂 what a fool. guess they listen to the whiners too much sometimes
S4 sucks already. No difference with the connection, still getting hit by low launchers even though i press down-back right after the first couple frames of that low launcher on ps4. Random guessing game that is.
