Hello, with KD in general you can make / generate remotes for specific PN. In order to get it recgonized by car you need a tool to activate via OBD2 learning of remote ( like : Autel, OBDstar,Xhorse Key tool Plus and way many other tools ) KD Mate its working in general for proxy systems

​@@timherold4848 Regarding tool is hard to say, i recommend "top" tools and for some brands like : BENZ, BMW, VAG Dedicated tools for those brands if you want to have life easy. But you need to make a research on what years range you will work and brands and then chose tools.

Yes, if you are working with universal remotes have a different coverage then xhorse remotes, different models of smart keys and on some brands kd remotes are more stable then xhorse and on others xhorse. My personal point of view if you make keys you need to have both.
