WOW! My favorite video ...so far. It took me 4 hours to finish because it gave me so many ideas, and I couldn't help but try some of them out while I paused the video. Thank you, my friend.
Came across ur channel the other day. Really brilliant ideas I'd never thought of. I shared with my mum. I think this would be perfect for her to do so she can eventually leave her job and be able to retire. I'm sure it takes a while to build up but it doesn't seem complicated at all. Thanks for taking the time to do these videos for everyone.
Thanks for this, Paul. I was looking for freebie ideas for my art newsletter when I came across this video. Illustrated word searches seem like a nice idea. So I downloaded the free generator and now have a load of great word searches that will keep my readers going for a while.
Asslam Alikom Greetings to you I am from Egypt You mentioned that you have followers from Morocco and did not mention that you have fans from Egypt. I am Egyptian. I live in Abu Dhabi - an Arabic language teacher. And I benefit very much from your videos thank you very much
I always stay until the end of your videos. So much interesting! Always great advices. And most of all great attitude and kindness from you. Thank you i learned so much from you.
I think the beauty of Arabic writing is that the most of letters are connected to each other and the reader may not like it if they are separate. This is what we experience with software that does not support Arabic language as it displays separate Arabic characters which causes us a kind of confusion and discomfort in using them
I agree, actually I sell an Italian word search book (at the moment I sold less than 20 but i did it without ads) and I got surprised realizing that most of the books were ordered from abroad (England and Canada).
Thanks for making your keyword lists available. I am trying to learn how to do this myself. I like being able to compare to yours and have other words that I don't have on my lists. Love watching your videos. Thanks.
Great video! So informative! I have been building lists of things for the last few months figuring one day I'd make my own word search books. This just gave me a few more ideas and some info I needed to help that process along. Thank you!
Hello, Thank you for all of your insight, hard work and knowledge for making your videos extremely informative. I look forward to more of your videos. Take care!
Great video...as always thanks for the resources and keywords list...really does save a ton of time. If you could do a video on how to find someone to create covers for adult and children's activity books, that would be great.
I watched all the way through. :D Great content as always. I wish you had done a more in-depth explanation of HOW you put puzzle books together. That part is confusing me. I'm sure I'm just overthinking it somehow.
I'm going to purchase the puzzle book mastery so I hope it's an affiliate link! These short actionable videos are great. I'm making my second book this week because of them. Really appreciate all of your hard work. The keywords look like a bargain @$2 as well.
This is an amazing video and has inspired me. But sadly the windows version maker is no longer available. But, I have found several great others that are completely free as well
@@paulmarles oh wow! That's high praise indeed. I love your RU-vid style with to-camera stuff mixed in with the screencasting. Very professional! Congrats on your lockdown success on KDP. I've seen an uptick as well but sadly not up to December levels :)
Thanks for the content! Great video as usual. ❤️ Question: do we have to create different accounts per niche, or won’t it hurt to ave different topics in one publishing account?
Another awesome video. Loaded with great information and super helpful. Thank you Paul. I am headed to buy your word search keyword list. I am new to KDP. You say you provide over 200 keywords but isn't there a much smaller amount allowed? How do I decide which ones to use? I assume that you already made a video on this subject, may I ask you which is the best one to watch for keywords? Thanks again for the amazing work that you do.
Hi There, I've done two recent videos on keyword research. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KV-rUyBVYlE.html and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yE2k1jsELdw.html and here's one I did on the 7 keywords boxes: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Tqr0A9QP8Yo.html
@paulmarles Please tell me, I can’t understand, how sales are calculated by BSR If (as in the example) there are 290 sales per day, then why 4345 per month? If 290 * 30 (number of days in a month) equals 8700 Or am I missing something? Thank you.
Hi there! thanks a lot for your videos, they are very valuable! Do you know if it is ok to create a word search puzzle book and having name of famous brands in the word list? Could I have issues with copyright? Thanks a lot!
I'm working in this niche and I must say 2$ royalty is a bit too much. Sure there are established books that sell for 7.99 but for the most part you'll have to price at around 6$, so it's around 1.3-1.5$ in royalties depending on the size of the book.
@@paulmarles that's actually one side of the problem with these books. another side is that the keywords in ads are very competitive and costly. might be up to 1$ per click! So in order to get your book decently ranked you gotta be either extremely lucky or be prepared to loose money on ads because running ads with profit in this niche is very unlikely.
Word Search UWP has been removed from the Microsoft Store. I am looking for a copy of it. Unfortunately the creator has passed away and all of his work was removed from the store.
Paul, I've noticed some niche word searches where not so much the covers but the interiors are using celebrities and pop culture theme's. Is this against TOS? My instincts tell me yes but would love to hear your input. Thanks for all the great content!
Is this word search generator from Microsoft free for commercial use?. Becoz i don't find any information about this software for commercial use n people are using n advertising on youtube blindly.
Hi, love your teachings! Can you tell me if you now use Publisher Rocket for keyword search and do you use Book bolt for word search now and if so do you find this easier?
I use Publisher Rocket and Helium 10. Both perform similar functions. Not used Book Bolt for word search puzzles yet but looks a great alternative. I will be doing a deeper diver into puzzle book creator software.
Thank you so much, Paul, for this fantastic video. I have a question, how many inches/ size should a word search book be? Is there a KDP guide for the size of the book cover?
My suggestion is look at the books on Amazon for your niche, on the first page and see what sizes they are. You’ll find there is a common standard size. For word search, probably 8.5x11
Thanks for your outstanding effort. After choosing the punches that I will use in the book, I want to change all letters from lowercase letters to uppercase letters, but I am afraid of changing the meanings of words. Can you help because English is not the mother tongue?
hi Paul! thanks for sharing this with us, i just have a question : how many words should be in every page ? i've seen some books with 6 words per page and others with 20 words per page so what do you recommend ?!
Depends on factors such as how hard you want the puzzles, what age group you are targeting. For adults I would have thought 10 to 15 would be reasonable.
Paul, what's your advice on adding/pasting small illustrations around a puzzle or something else on a low content page? Do certain images/software work best? Thanks a ton . . . .
Hello Paul, great video. Do you add only 1 keyword phrase into 1 column in KDP .... in other words, do you use only 7 keywords entering into kdp. Thanks for your answear.
Hi. Great video. Thinking of buying the keywords, but seeing that this video was uploaded over 1 year ago, the figures have definitely changed. Do you normally update your keywords list in gumroad?
Thank you for the video. Your channel is very inspiring. Can you please tell me if making a big puzzle Search Word, for example 100 pages and to each puzzle of 20 words that would be 2000 words total! If suddenly some words will be repeated? is that allowed?
No difference for adults. 25 word search would only be 25 pages which would be very small. I would’ve thought something along the lines of 80’pages would be more reasonable. Take a look at other books already published in your niche.
hi captain please: can I use "Microsoft Word Search Generator UWP" free for commercial use ( Exp: on Amazon KDP), or just for personal or educational use. I'm waiting for your answer thnx a lot. "
@@paulmarles Hi Paul! i just tried the microsoft WSG but the resolution of the image really drops down when i scale to KDP dimensions (using adobe sofware) Do you face this issue?
using an automated tool like publisher rocket to find keywords and export them as excel sheet is good ? or work manually is the best and the safe thing ?
I find manually is better as I know the keywords are coming direct from Amazon. I’m sure Publisher Rocket produces similar keywords so you can’t really go wrong using either.
Just for clarification, so we’d make about 33% of sale price and Amazon takes 66%? For some reason, I always thought that Amazon only kept 1/3 of book sales. Or perhaps, it is different depending of book types? Just wondering... love your videos. Definitely worth the effort as it sounds fun to do as well.
