I'm 41.. there are just certain songs.. when you hear them.. you feel like you are twenty again.. time is so cruel. One day you are 20 your entire life is a glimpse in the future.. then you blink and it's just slipped away.. This is one of those magical songs.
Woah... for me, this song came out when I was 5 years old. Such a nice & heart felt song. I am 23 years old now & my boyfriend is 41, he loves this song very much!
Just saw this now for the first time and it kinda gave me goosebumps when Tim told the bit about how he knows the way to and fro the pub and their "somewhere" in utter darkness and how this led to the famous line in SOWK.
Perhaps one of the best bands ever. Such beautiful music and lyrics. Plus they are so humble. Because of Keane, we visited a little town in England called Bexill on Sea., where the music video Sovereign light cafe was filmed. Loved it. Thanks for sharing.
Hi there! Because of keane, I just visited the sovereign light cafe. My parents and I are here on vacation now, soon we'll be visiting battle abbey. Bexhill is a really cozy place actually, it suits the band. I hope you had a great time!
Oh God if i could even scratch the surface of how much this song has meant to me, somewhere only we know existed in the centre of my heart and still does. it is an eternal place and this song brings me there every time .
Goodness, this is one of those songs I have to stop what I'm doing to listen to when it comes on. There's not alot on that list that's compulsory, but this is.
I used to work for their bass players late dad, Rob Quin...a brilliant sound engineer and one of the most fantastic people I have ever had the pleasure to know. Haven't seen Jesse for years, he reminds me of his dad so much....I'm so bad at keeping in touch. Xx

I remember watching this on the television about a year ago, and not really knowing this song, and thinking it was just a short boring documentary, but then a couple months go by and I’m listening to Lily Allen and i kinda remember this song, so i looked it up and was surprised to find out that Lily Allen wasn’t the original singer. Cause i didn’t really know who Keane was.....anyway i remembered this song, and loved it. And now i just watched the video again and i still remember it, but i didn’t know it was about this song...😅 anywayyy i love the original the most, but because of Lily Allen I actually know this song...😬🥰💕 xx Sophie

How about not using a proper piano. Stripping down all the weight on the inside, and having a dummy 100lb piece of wood....by that I meant the piano...not you.
