@Marius Ipad ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SCQeDDxCM6Y.html Oh look, Anderson Silva, one of the greatest fighters of all time, does a front kick on his toes, while performing one of the best knockouts of all time. I guess he's worse than the 6 year olds at your gym, too. ;)
@Marius Ipad You're full of shit. For starters with the fact that what you tried to point out in his kick isn't even there. He's balancing on the tip of his foot, as any proper kick should be executed. If you can't see that while taking a glimpse at that short sequence, either you failed to understand what your teachers are teaching at your gym or you've got a bad gym. Also, in some circumstances it is very possible to kick with the heel down on the floor and be very effective and not get your ass kicked, if you have proper ballance and proper understanding of the mechanics of a front kick, however it is a dangerous approach as you can injure your ligaments, are vulnerable to getting knocked down or out by a counter as your supporting leg isn't damping a shock well enough and it's just bad for your foot work, should you need to quickly transition to another technique or position.
I don't know what else he has, but somewhere on the interwebs there is a shot of him walking out of his house with a leather bag and a samurai sword, so there's that. I think he's the only person in the world who can cruise out the house, slide his samurai into his Porsche like it's not a thing, and just roll.
@Saaq VFX Can't I want to get the boxset and put it on display, such dedication to get the role right and for the team, the director, etc to make this franchise, even Jackie Chan would be proud on how they know how to actually film action scenes and it would be great if he gave his insight on their techniques
As a Judoka, i'm consistently impressed with how smooth and clean his Judo is. You can only achieve that through A LOT of training and repetition. I think any martial artist can see the commitment he has made to accurately representing these techniques. Huge respect to this man.
yeah i was very happy to see how clean his throws were. felt like i was watching a grand pix ippon reel. i loved it but i also trained karate growing up and his striking looks... a bit stuff. but no hate there, props to doing these stunts himself
He shows how Judo allows one to stay on their feet vs MULTIPLE opponents. Best showcasing of the power of Judo that I've seen in any movie. LOVE that art (in addition to self defense, used it in rugby to hip throw bigger opponents and to end hockey fights without throwing punches/suspensions..and rolling out of falls without injury).
if you grew up with keanu.. they really made him out to be a shitty actor.. a type cast stoner.. its amazing that he was able to break that mold and turn into what he has become.
This guy can do everything, as an Army soldier and law enforcement officer, I can tell how realistic movements and tactics he use in weaponry and hand to hand combat. Martial arts - Jui jitsu, Dojo, all the chokes, grappling techniques, military style fighting, reloading, stance, gun manipulations, and even his drifting and driving trainings. He got it all. I can tell you for sure, this might just be a movie but in real life, you wouldn't wanna mess with this dude. He's capable of fucking you up exactly how it looks like in the movie. I don't praise a lot on action movies with the exception of John Wick(Mr. Keanu Reeves).
dude is a boss and yet such a humble and generous person. funds children's hospitals. praised by all the cast about his incredible personality. and can Mozambique you with any weapon or found object in the world. profoundly talented. amazing person
@@kbanghart Likely a dumb question, but I wonder if he has had to use these skills in real life? I wouldn't mess with him. Like he said, the muscle memory just comes back. In that blink of an eye, he has put that person on their back and applied a submission move.
@@smittyg6700 Yes that is an interesting question. my own sensei, has been doing it for over 30 years and has been in a couple situations himself. And has had a few students have altercations But, nothing major, like no huge fights or anything. Almost always, The person who has studied martial arts for a while, is able to do one simple move, or the start of a more complex move, and makes the other person stop and think about it, and usually back off. For example, one student was confronted by a guy who was either drunk or high and just walked into the dojo and tried to put his arm on her. She did a simple move, without even striking him, and he suddenly was stumbling out the door wondering what Happened. And then he left. Of course, those are the best kind of situations.
I am 63, I would like to be able to just get off the floor with ease instead of pain. An amazing actor and person. Like Tom Hanks, he started out with someone else and he is the only one who has made a big name for himself. Phenomenal
Ummm I don’t think he’d use those techniques. Probably the guy who’ll break in would also be keanu’s fan or something so Keanu will probably ask him to have a coffee with him😂
@@creativeaaditya2436 if anyone makes Keanu Reeves have to use any of his combat skills, they done fucked up so bad. the nicest people are the scariest people to piss off because you don't know what they are going to do once they've been pushed too far
damn ya'll actually trained him to be an assassin.. like from driving, to hand to hand, knives, and guns.. dude is a killing machinnnnne with heart of an angel lol..
Anyone who trains in real martial arts or some skill speaks like that. If they treat it seriously and have the right mindset will realize that there's so much more to learn than what they know. Humility is part of that.
No shit! Considering a child with a gun can literally shoot and kill a skilled professional in the back of the head, I'd say, you BETTER have humility and respect.
Not to mention that he is the most humble and nicest person in hollywood. Such a great guy. He's the type of friend you know will be there for you and help you out no matter what. AND he builds and rides motorcycles
that man has secretly found the fountain of youth.. he's doing more action now then back in point break/speed days.. he is a beast who is a down to earth, humble, respectful person..
@@johnmachado1 I had the honor to train with your brother Roger for some time and a few times with Carlos, Both of them very humble, wise and knowledgeable. You guys (RCJ) are in a league of your own. I"m not surprised that you guys were called to collaborate with your expertise
I’m a big fan of you Keanu Reeves. I love the fact that you’re 50 and in great shape you are in, is motivating. Can’t wait to see your next John Wick looking forward to it.
50 something years old and still performs his stunts. That's just really impressive. Most other people his age would whine and cry about how shitty and old they feel. Keanu is just in his natural habitat and keeps on moving. Stay fit and enjoy life no matter what, everybody
Lol Mission Impossible tries. I still like Mission Impossible...somewhat. But it just doesn't really satisfy me like Keanu Wick, and knowing Tom Cruise is like a 5' 4" freakin rude weirdo it tips the scale even more.
Zippitty22 I think the next mission impossible film you will see something similar with the fights and style. Tom cruise knows his stuff and he will try to adopt some of this into the films
Fun story: Viggo Mortensen, the actor who played Aragorn in Lord of the Rings, got so into his role that at times he wouldn't answer when calling him by the name and only when referring to him as Aragorn. The best part was that people on set started doing it unconsciously too, often spending hours talking to him without ever saying his name once.
Keanu is legit in every way: very down to earth, cool guy who's not about the spotlight and goes about his work like a total pro. 99% of Hollywood is full of crap but Keanu is one guy I'd like to hang out with.
Keanu's so damn real.. When he talks you can tell he's a gentle, HUGELY humble person. Yet he could kick the ever living piss out of everyone but doesn't show it at all. That's badass
I want to be more like Keanu in terms of how he handles life and how he presents himself. Calm, Committed, Cheerful. He is dedicated to his work. He is kind towards strangers. He is the most humble celebrity I’ve ever seen. He is real and gets along with people despite being so introverted. Keanu the person people look up to.
What GREAT producers, assistants, engineers.. on n on.. the hole crew in this film production from the coffee runners to the writers, trainers to the actors! What a machine they all make. Dream job!
If u told me that he is 38 I would trust u. Just the fact that he has very few grey beard hairs and very slightly developed eye wrinkles at 55 is simply crazy. He looks younger than most retired professional athletes. That’s just ridiculous. 🥴
Kent VanderVelden most 20 year olds. This guy is more dangerous than 90 percent of people i fight with. His weapons work his legitimately better than a strong majority of professional shooters. So much respect for keanu
True, the crazy weapons and martial arts training is certainly for his business, but I mean, for example, when I was 30, not to project on to other 30 yos, I didn't even have a fraction of the ambition needed to simply do the cardio he must be doing.
Hmmm...well he keeps fit, but he smokes like a chimney, practically mainlines coffee and Coca Cola, and eats meat, so not so much on the actual respect bit. But he still looks pretty damned good. I wouldn't kick him out of bed LOL
Coffee is actually good for you. It revitalises cells and helps with digestion, but the negatives of coffee, what it does is it kills magnesium in your body, so unless you consume magnesium rich food on the side, your nervous system is gonna take a hit and in return affect your overall motor skills and reaction speed. Meat also isn't bad for you, well, pork is bad because pork has this enzyme in it that is actually poisonous to the human body, and red meat(venison), slows down digestion heavily and can cause some serious gas, white meat is the healthiest, rich on fibre and digests easily, so any kind of fowl(chicken for you laymen) is good.
Love this movie. All of the John Wick fights are awesome. It uses so many different styles of martial arts. He's got all of the masters to teach him the styles. Great job to all of the teams in this movie sequel.
Thanks my dear fan for your love and support towards me I really appreciate message me through my hangouts email address. fanspagekeanureeves@gmail.com
i love how all the experts they brought in to train him were so surprised and pleased by keanu. just like, yeah most actors do this at a level that's fine for the camera but Keanu...!
John Machado i 💘 john wick he's so gd lookin i would love. 2 make gd 💘 2 him i look at his movie over n over again i would love 4him 2 just stick it in me hard n harder than flip me over. im seriously want him bad they shouldn t have them on movies like that bless u baby until part 3
What an excellent RU-vid video. All Keanu Reeves & John Wick fans should watch this. Keanu Reeves is such an impressive actor. You can tell from Keanu Reeves put a lot of hard work into his role as John Wick. Keanu Reeves is handsome as usual.
@@doctorvoodoo4198 actually no he does stunts like jumping and climbing but Keanu Reeves has hand to hand combat skills and like in the video so Keanu can kick toms ass
I own all three John Wick movies on Blu-ray. After watching some of Keanu’s John Wick interviews and training I was hyped to watch it again so I bought them in 4K this time. Can’t wait to experience one of my favorite action movies of all time again.
Never was a huge fan of Keanu, although I loved his performance in Speed, but his commitment to this training, getting all the things right, his meticulous personality,... made me appreciate him more. Absolutely loved John Wick, am going to watch the second one tonight! :D
You can tell by the way he speaks of all his training and movie making experience, he's in his element. That's the most I've seen him talk in an interview since probably Speed lmao
The Machado Brothers have trained Keanu Reeves well. I applause his own determination. All that speed, precision and timing is charming. Thanks for the information
I have a feeling that Keanu could more than hold his own if he were attacked by an average person on the streets. He's really a good shot as well based off the behind the scenes live fire shooting range footage I've seen. Might be one reason he regularly rides the subway like everyone else, and no one messes with him either
I was so wondering this when I watched always be my maybe. CAN the guy actually fight? I’m sure the star of matrix and John Wick would know a thing or two!!!!
Fun Fact: Keanu Reeves not only trained in BJJ for the John Wick movies, but even before he trained in various striking martial arts for The Matrix trilogy. When they finished those movies,he continued training with Daniel Berhardt,a known stunt coordinator/actor/martial artist(he's the guy who plays the Agent, that fights Morpheus on the top of the truck,in Matrix:Reloaded and also the main henchman in the first John Wick movie, the tall guy who stabs Wick in the club ) in Karate,Kickboxing & TKD. So he's pretty proficient in both striking and grappling ,you shouldn't mess with him. P.S. The director of John Wick,Chad Stahelski,Keanu's former stuntdouble,is also a legit martial artist. He grew up with Brandon Lee,Bruce Lee's son and treained with him.
My Man...fan from Matrix franchise to Wick Franchise... He is really good...and l like how he does it until he is not satisfied and the amount of work he has gone through... I think no one in the industry is good like him in anything.
I would totally love to see some few more action movies with Keanu Reeves in the next few years until Man is really Too old for this sh*t!!! He's a great man and Actor combined.
One of the finest actors in a Hollywood today and he's getting old so his level of stamina and flexibility is amazing. I am so envious. I'd love to do what he does and get all that training.
There would be no John Wick without Keanu Reeves. Realistic action movies are years in the future. These movies have given us a taste of what’s to come for the future.
Never gonna happen because first of all, that would be overkill. 2 major stars doing the same thing? Plus they're opposites. I can't see them working together. ..And just for the record, I like Keanu. Cruise is nuts.
Gerardine Cizmar most people would agree that opposites would make the best partnership. So saying they're opposites is a terrible excuse as to why they can't work together.
