his interviews are always so unabashedly awkward as if you plucked out a random shopper at the mall and sat him down for an interview. he reacts like a normal person, no prepared lines, not trying to entertain you. you would never have guessed he has been in show business for decades. so refreshing

I fucking love Keanu. His interviews are amazing. It's just him being Keanu. In a time where interviewer and interviewee relationships feel so fake this guy is a breath of fresh air. He lets himself be awkward and isn't constantly trying to entertain, which is what makes his interviews so entertaining lol

The question about acting and empathy towards human relationships was a very good question. You could even see he was thinking "wow that's a question to talk for hours on".

I found this video randomly while looking at a bunch of different Keanu Reeves interviews, and I must say, I'm impressed. Finally a journalist who asks interesting and relevant questions to an actor! So many interviews of actors or directors are filled with insipide, uninteresting questions. It's really nice and refreshing to see a good interview like yours. Kudos to you! :)

You can tell he is polite, kind and not a dick to interviewers like a lot of his level of famous actors. He tried hard to understand her questions and give her his best answers.

I think he was incredibly shy when he was younger which why his voice sounds different now that he's older. Almost like he was just thankful he had a job and didn't know when he would have another one. Just living in the present. That's a gift I wish we could all have more of. Just living in the present, being thankful for what is not what could be.
