The title of the sermon the night God filled me with the Holy Ghost was: Jesus is the only Man you Need. The scripture was of the man at the pool of Bethesda who said, "I have no man to put me in the water". He really IS all we need. We have been taught to believe we NEED things that we don't need. When we swallow that teaching we are living beneath our privilege. A partner should be one that we can share our relationship with Christ with. But we are complete in Jesus.. not a man. When we NEED a man Jesus is jealous. He wants to be that one. But allows room for a man in our lives as long as it doesn't subtract from our relationship with God.
Simply AWESOME..!! the truth...!! I hung out with Kevin ( Keb) one night after one of his shows the man is the real deal and a real gentleman, anybody who could dislike this kinda soulfulness and message needs counseling..! thank God for Keb Mo..!!!!
Keb Mo is an accomplished Blues singer/songwriter that has been around for a long time. His easy style and expressive voice has told many stories over the years, but he might take exception to being called a country performer. Try to understand an artist for what they are, not how you want to catregorize them. I do think he would be pleased that he might have exposed prospective new ears to the original sound of the south.

wow , the first time i heard this man was last week on a TV show. but know one knew it so I had to find and research him.. this is what I found ,, took me a few days to track his songs down and this one here, but, just listen to him sing.. what great lyrics and such a great sound..I hope you all enjoy listening to him and this song as I do...

I learned a long time ago people like what they like. Fortunately you and I and many many other people know what good music is. Tonight and Tomorrow night at the Jazzfest in Rochester N.Y. I am seeing Pat Metheny and Keb Mo to of my favorite guitarists that I never thought I would get a chance to see. It's all about the music everything else mindless details. 🙂
Keb Me has been one of my favorite songwriters and performers for a long time. I missed this song until now, it's very powerfull. So many of us forget how fortunate we are.
