Auction means the server just becomes more grindy though. Less of interaction and more of how many racks you got

⁠@@thatoutsider its no different to boosting contract auction. people grind to get gne back then people gonna grind butcoin anyways because everything connected to butcoin it seems. there is interaction between people wanting to buy and the people selling material/coin/blueprints/etc. auctioning just makes it so it potentially gets rid of higher amounts of butcoin making less chance of groups to get back to back contracts. helps other groups who are unable to claim have higher chance

@@topgeorge6908 This is RP not a MMO Castle defense game. This rule destroys RP in favor of making people feel good. Those groups could come together and form one bigger group to defend against the top groups who keep robbing them. Now instead we get less RP and more control.

There are alot of 3.0 rules that weren't made "official" in 4.0. It also seemed that the admins were not dissuading groups from robbing heists for the past few weeks now. Coincidentally, now that Buddha can progress to the new heist this rule was brought back up.

Yeah I know so unfair for him to recognize he has an advantage and use that in conjunction with his brain and plan ahead to do criminal shit and rob people, and for the heinous crime of knowing how to aim a gun and drive, how could he. Why would he act like a criminal on the RP server where he plays a criminal. Yeah these predetermined locations like the bank that they rob and the laundromat that they rob. So secret. I don’t think it’s beyond the realm of RP to consider that maybe K figured out when the weapon shipments are coming in on the dark web on the computer he has that everybody else has that they use the dark web on to commit crimes and do illegal shit….

This has been a rule since 3.0. You cant 3rd party. Literally nothing new here. If you want to commit a crime theres chopping, AC units, jewelry, money runs, moonshine, weed, street racing, laundry, ammunation crates... there's plenty. But then there's scumbags that want to rob garbage men and rob people who worked hard to get the heist. Its not that hard to get the heist yourself. The server isnt supposed to be do the highest job every day and stop every other gang from progressing to your level.

If you think ammunition aka Gun Blueprints etc should be given out by who has 50 Butcoin and lives closer to where the Nopixel servers are located you obviously cannot think clearly. This same issue popped up in 3.0 where groups would log on early just to “claim the bank jobs” only to just sit on them so others couldn’t. It was dogcrap then it’s dogcrap now. I understand this as a rule once the server is fully up and running but this is an absolutely dumb rule when the only crimes on the server are minimal things. Stop with your bias hatred of CG and think critically about what this leads to. This leads to the same thing that did 3.0 in

And I only watch crim streams and non of their RP is dry or having issues maybe that's an issue with who you watch. Some people dont need heists and game mechanics to have entertaining RP.

@@VinegarAndSaltedFries it's been a grind and always will be a grind. 3.0 died because there was no grind. Everyone had millions and had nothing to spend it on and build. If the server already heads that way the server will die. They have to release everything very slow and keep the power level of each gang as equal as possible. If you dont then you have CG and cerberus running the city and 40 gangs fighting for scraps. And thats not because they are better at RP they have been on the server longer then anyone so they have every connection in the city. If 1 person sneezes on yuno and he gets a cold there's a 900 man army at their door step and Yuno probably doesnt even know all their names. Have you seen K do 1 hour of any job in the city? Yet before the heists he had more money then anyone. That's not because he's a great RPer its because people go along with his shit because they hope that when he does have power he will remember the time they gave him a free burger. People know connections is more important then anything else. Long story short if you allow house robberies and stolen jobs you will kill all motivation in the server from people working hard and getting robbed by people who dont need to rob it but will out of boredom and big dicking.

I think it was just a rule calcification since people were confused due to how heist worked in the past you were not suppose to even if they took your boy hostage mess with that heist right. You get them later. The start of the heist was the entering the bank the start now is the contract that’s all. I think a few people went for clarification and an announcement was made to clarify it. Not really a nerf just clarifying a rule. Cg would probably not be banned nor x but others around them could be so it’s best not to.
