Greg Kading most likely did it for money. Otherwise, if he was really interested in giving closure to 2Pac family and fans and if he genuinely wanted Keefe D to pay for it, then he wouldn't have offered Keefe a deal to get away with it. As Bobby Ladd said, it wasn't right for 2 reasons to give him a deal. First, it wasn't even Kadings or LA's case but Vegas' case, so it wasn't their place to offer him shit to begin with. The fact that they apparently didn't even tell Vegas PD makes it even more suspicious. Second, as Tim Brennan pointed out years ago, what do you get out of the deal with Keefe? He barely provided any new information. They know most of it before he even started talking. So why give him a deal? Maybe because it gave Greg Kading the opportunity to act like he soved the case and write a book and do a documentary and get a Netflix show and paycheck after paycheck. One could almost be forgiven to think that Kading did it for money.

@Hallahanify Suge could have talked to police. Suge said how much he genuinely loved 2pac, but yet for KeefeD being walked around free. Security could help buy they failed 2pac. Deathrow Homeboys could have helped as they were in 5he caravan. But nobody helped. Nobody cared enough to help 2PAC.

His task force was set up to help LA regarding the lawsuit Biggie's mum filed. This is why he offered the poffer agreement. If you think about it what he did was really clever. Unlike immunity this has limitations. So he ensured that Keefe can be prosecuted if he messes up something which he ultimately did.

Note: An 18B attorney is a public defender who also handles private cases. Everyone does not end up with their court appointed lawyer being an 18B attorney. Furthermore a person that has their own paid attorney that they really can’t afford but they started out with them, It can be requested before the Judge for them to be an 18B counsel and the state will pay them instead of the defendant at a rate that 18B lawyers receive, so they may wind up taking a pay cut. *All in all every court appointed attorney is Not an 18B lawyer, remember 18B lawyers handle private cases too. 18B lawyers are considered to be better free litigators because they practice privately too.
