The new Memphis Sun - Lo-Fi Reverb, Echo and Double-Tracker is our second studio themed pedal. Like the Keeley 30ms ADT this pedal gives you a wealth of tones for capturing that classic Rock-and-Roll sound as well as sounds you’ve not heard before. It’s NeoVintage. It’s an Echo and Reverb pedal.
Think of this pedal as three different effects:
ECHO 600 - Echo for Long Delays
SUN MODE - Auto Track-Doubling and Slapback with Short Delays
REVERB - Room Reverb - Full Studio Studio Simulation.
Both of the ECHO 600 and SUN MODE effects have a Room Reverb. It’s a one-knob, rock and roll type of room reverb.

I come back to this...One of the greatest medley of tunes you've done (of course the other Memphis Sun video might top this one;-). I love it. Had me dancing in my chair, again!

Today my Sun pedal arrived! This is defenitely a keeper. No more fiddling with other delays and verbs for a sound like this. Thanks again to Mike for the tasty demonstration and Mr. Keeley for making such a f.... good pedal for the "real" guitar sound.

The Stray Cat Strut sold me, love that sound. I can hear Skynyrd, Bad Company, George Thorogood, ZZ Top sounds locked in there as well. Pretty much all the classic rock and blues that I love.

Coming back for this vid for years now. It's still a pleasure listening to your playing and sounds. My pedal got beaten up over the years but still sounds great and is always ON as a part of my sound. I wish Mr. Keeley would do a bigger, overhauled version with a crunchy knob, a trem and a more drippy reverb. So i would have one pedal for my Surf and Rockabilly stuff 😎

I got one last month, and I found that it's just as useful for heavier rock, and mixes with other peddles pretty well. As for pickups, P90s sound really good also, which is a good thing since about half of my 15 or so guitars sport them. Humbuckers are better suited for lead playing through this, depending on your picking style and type of gear. I would recommend a treble bleed circuit be added to keep that clear tone, but that's a good idea on most any guitar. Get one if you've got the spare duckets. They are definitely fun to play with. ;)

You don't mention what overdrive you're using in this video. Could you tell me what it is that you're using for an overdrive at the 3 minute Mark for that specific lead please? Thank you so much for all the great videos including this one, you're playing is the best on the internet!!

is there anything you can't do on the 30 ms double tracker that you CAN do on the Memphis sun when it comes to using for vocals. IOW if I had to get one primarily to be used live on vocals in a multi-genre rock band which might you recommend?

I think you will find that this is a very versatile pedal, dial out the Reverb in Sun mode and enjoy the slap-back to your specifications, it can be very subtle or in the Echo 600 quite splashy. The double tracking feature is a lovely touch for that lo-fi feel. Highly recommended pedal, and no I don't work for Keeley. Hope this helps!

Not impressed, to get any idea what it sounds like need to play Sun records guitar like Roland Jane's or Billy lee Riley it's like demonstrating a wah wah with a flamenco guitar !
