STEP 1 - INGREDIENTS
1 lb mince meat (you can use lamb or mutton also)
1 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter
1/2 medium onion chopped
1 & 1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp crushed Cummin seeds
1 tsp red chilli paste or Sambal
1 tsp each ginger and garlic paste
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice
handful chopped coriander leaves
STEP 2 - INGREDIENTS
2 cups all purpose flour/maida
1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
water to bind the dough
oil for use when rolling
STEP 1 METHOD - On medium high heat add butter in a pan. Add ginger and garlic paste and sauté quickly. Add chopped onions and sauté, then add salt, sauté onions until translucent, then add minced meat, breaking the lumps. Cook until all the water had dried up. Add lemon juice and once it’s all dry, add chopped coriander leaves, remove from the heat and and set aside to cool.
STEP 2 - METHOD
In a large bowl add flour and lemon juice, bind with water (the way we do Samosas patti (see samosa patti video link below) make a stiff dough. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes take the dough and divide into 6 large balls and 6 small balls (as shown in the video).
