I have Riolink cameras on my home and business. 2 of them are this camera(pan-tilt). ThIs is Riolink the app is the same. the Riolink are black or white. Decent products I have had no problems. The camera without the solar panel is nearly useless. Nice that they included it. If you buy the Riolink the solar is an add on. The distance the PIR detection (motion) is some what limited and does not auto track. real high quality able to read license plates at a reasonable distance.

I find the camera is amazing, strongly suggest you buy this one over anything else. However customer service is not easy to receive..

I have used reolink for home security for several years now & I can tell ya those solar panels are second to none. Just point south and forget it.

I may have gotten rammy when plugging in the Solar Panel to the camera, now its loose and not much I can do about it..Be gentle with the connection!

How much does it cost per month for cellular data I heard it's 2GB for $10

They better come up with a better way to secure this camera. Granted height will help but with that current mounting bracket and the way that it connects to it there is literally no secure way to keep that camera from getting stolen. All somebody has to do is press a button on that mounting bracket and they're off walking with your camera, eject that SIM card that you bought and now they get a free camera for themself. For the record I own this camera but it's the non-cellular version so I am intimately aware of its mounting flaws. I currently have the wifi version in my backyard looking over my chicken coop.

Do you have the camera successfully connected to WiFi network instead of cellular? I'm interested in buying one specifically for the camo aesthetic to install near an RV where there is a WiFi network available...

@@nickdouglas5882 no, I bought these cameras specifically to be out on my hunting grounds and that's miles away from my house so Wi-Fi would not reach that distance at least without some ridiculous repeater setup so for myself I am forced to use a cellular system. If I was going to use a wi-fi system I would probably choose one of the Cuddeback brand cameras as they allow you to have a mesh repeater network of all the cameras as long as they're in range of each other reporting back to a Wi-Fi base station at your house. Especially great if the property you hunt on is also the property you live on such as a large Homestead and you don't want to have to pay a cellular bill for every single camera you set up. Not only does it work better but from an economical standpoint it's also way better. The other option with that particular camera system is if you don't have the ability to get the Wi-Fi back to your house you can leave sort of like a master node on the edge of your hunting grounds where you can go there and collect photos from all of the other cameras that have pushed the photos and videos to that one camera or base station that will make it so you don't actually have to go in and put boots on the ground and potentially spook deer out of the area just to check on trail cams.

@@RunicGamingYT Thanks for your reply. All of that information is very useful. I'm researching more about cell trail cams and I appreciate your detailed input. I've decided I'll pick up one of these Keen Ranger cams and try out the eiot sim card, as the only (good) service provider on the property is AT&T. I've also been recommended the eiot sim by Reolink customer service to utilize that network. I wasn't aware of the mesh option with the Cuddeback. That seems like a really useful feature to have across multiple cams.
