Battery health has been awful on the iPhone 14 pro and the 14 pro max so I have seems tips to try and keep that battery health at 100% #iphone #batteryhealth #apple
Use the battery as needed and charge it to 100%. If the battery health goes below 80%, which will take several years, then just take it to an Apple shop and get a new battery for $60. It’s not the end of the world.
My iPhone X was at 67% peak capacity. It sucked and wouldn’t last 3-4 hours. Now that I got my 15pro max it’s such a 180° and I can’t drain the battery in 1 day no matter how much I use it lol
Similar to my 11 pro max, it was on 78% and it would drain so fast, mainly because I lived in a very hot climate, used mac charger and heavy user lol Now 15 pro max is such a 180°, plus me moving to a colder country is a huge plus too
i went from the 12 to 15 pro and it was such an upgrade. My 12 had issues of overheating then somehow going from 100% to 10% when it shuts down. And battery health was at 79%. Anyways 15 pro has been a good phone
The capacity is 98 all it means is that the health of the battery has gone down the phone will still charge to 100 percent of its capacity it’s just not as much as before
Good tips but it's luck of the draw. I know people that have an iPhone 14 and they're at 90% health. I have an 11 Pro Max (4 years old) and I am at 85%.. I never used optimized battery charging and I always used fast chargers (Anker). We really need new battery tech, I see no reason for me to upgrade until we have that and a true full screen display.
The phone will only take whatever wattage it supports doesn’t matter if you got a strong charger. Leaving it charging over night does not damage the battery either it’s a smart phone it knows when not to take voltage to charge
I got my 11 on Sept 28, 2019 and its at 74% health. I will retire it this year when I get the 15 Pro after trade-in and while its still worth the $200 trade in if they think the condition is good enough. After year 1 it was still at 100% back in 2020.
O Paul, these tips will help the battery health to last longer than your average user, who charges his phone 100% daily. But it’s certainly impossible to keep it at a fixed number for long periods of time, such as more than one month. And to make you depressed, your system is lying to you, Paul. It can't be at the same spot for more than 6 months! There is a shortcut for precise battery health. Check it out for the real number of your battery capacity.
I got my iPhone 12 Pro on Sept 21, 2022 and it’s at 85% battery health rn I will retire it next year in February because I’m switching back to Android phones. I always charge my phone at 20%-60% every day and I let it drain down to 30% then I charged it again to 80% and stopped the charge there during the night i charge my phone from 20%-100%
8 months by normally using 14 pro max. I still have 100% battery capacity. I am holding battery level between 35-65%. Sometimes I charge 4-5x in day. So this is biggest battery capacity saver.
@@narutoninjagoandtheflashar4256 hard use every day. Holding battery between 35-65% from beginning and still after 11 months 100% battery capacity ☺️💪🏼 average 6h daily screen time and a lot hours working like hotspot for other devices 😀
One year and 4 months and I went from a 100 to a 89 not bad if you ask me as I charge it horribly tbh but I don’t care I will replace the battery if I had to in 2-3 years from now
i always keep it between 20 and 80 except for times where i cant. i haven't noticed any battery performance drops so i've ignored it but battery health has dropped tremendously this year.@@shoichimakoto3703
Battery health is not accurate. People often charges their devices as they see fit and it can cause fake battery reports. Every 200 charging cycles i would recommend doing a battery recalibration which will give much more accurate results. Battery degradation is a normal thing, happens almost all the time with every device that has rechargable batteries, there is a finite number of charges your phone can take. Even keeping your battery levels on a healthy value like 15%-85% won't stop it from happening but can greatly increase batery lifespan. Keeping battery at 100% 90% 80% all the time is impossible. It will definitly get worse as the time flies by.
What’s the point in paying this much amount of money and then you have to charge it only 80% …. And various other things that we have to take care after paying this much amount of money
@@1PaulJ They definitely have! UPDATE: It literally just dropped again yesterday to 96% 🤦🏾♂️ I’ve had it for 9 almost 10 months. Don’t know if this is normal or not
Two things to prolong your battery health. 1. Only charge it once a day , not multiple times a day. 2. In hot weather don't mount your phone on windscreen or dashboard and use as satnav. Also in winter if you mount phone in car , don't mount it by the heater blowers as that's just as bad
@@80skid83yes, if you replace it try to do a better job at keeping it out of the heat, I live in LA and mounting my phone for gps or music during the summer sucks, shit easily jumps to 100 degrees and starts slowing down so I just don’t use it unless I have to
Mine went from 99. And then to 98. And now 97 in 8 months. Wtf is even going on? Is my battery degrading 1 percent every month or something? That is REALLY REALLY BAD 😢
After I got my iPhone 14 it took it 8 months till it drop to 99% but then in 25 days it dropped to 98% and after 5 days it dropped to 97%. I don’t know if I should worry but more probably it’s because of the new iOS updates I guess
Mine’s also 97% in 8 months. And I’m still on the old iOS btw. Dk if that might be the problem or not. But the reason I didn’t upgrade was because iOS was NOT stable (and it probably still isn’t). So yeah
Orrrr ditch apple as they are a terrible company that degrades your battery capacity and device every time a new iPhone comes out, and when a major update comes along that release of the new iPhone. Yet people still buy apple and complain 😢
@@narutoninjagoandtheflashar4256 well, dats good, whats ur routine. Did u often play heavy game like genshin/pubg mobile/call of duty mobile? Or else? I still at 100 tho, im just afraid if i often play dat heavy game, it will reduced:)
