Kesler Hayden isn’t 26

Keep Dhuran. Wild card talent and he’s more clinical in finishing than any other villa player. Worth a gamble on his maturity. Can change games - Liverpool for instance

Loved Morgan and Ramsay at the Boro. Villa got some very talented players on their books. Big times ahead.

Nedeljkovic will come in at RB

Diego Carlos has been a real liability this year. Nonsensical defending/grappling at corners that could've resulted in multiple penalties, lackadaisical passing at times. Definitely be happy to see him go

We need to shift: Olsen, Chambers, Dendonker, Hause and Coutinho for any money and let Lenglet and Zaniolo go back from their loans. Kesler Hayden and Iroegbunum haven't shown enough and there's value to sell. Cash need to be sold, Unai doesn't trust him Digne, and Diego Carlos are on huge wages and we might be able to find cheaper alternatives Duran seems to push a move every window and there's massive value there Hopefully that avoids the sale of any crucial 1st teamers

No even a Villa fan, but selling that many players is always going to be hard to cope with especially in a Champions Leauge first season.

Dont think we need a rebuild. But we definitely need to add strength in depth. It really showed towards the end of the season.

Tielemens is an interesting one hes come a long way through the season. If push came to shove id sell but something positive has changed in him and for depth would keep.

In my opinion, we have four assets that could attack very big fees if we were looking to sell. 1. Ramsey. Would be pure profit but I don't think the fee would be as high as it could be with another year actually playing under Unai. Plus Villa fans would hate to see him go. 2. Watkins. If we were to sell him, we would then have to spend the same amount or more to come close to replacing him. It's not worth it. 3. Martinez. There is no replacing him. Most untouchable player in the squad for me. There is no keeper in the world as good as Martinez that would come to Villa. 4. Luiz. This is the only one for me. Would hate to see him go but he is far easier to replace than the rest and his price is probably at an all-time high.

Fair assessment of bailey he has redeemed himself in villa fans eyes and hes just gone from strength to strength

Lenglet is a loan, one that we've not turned into a move, so hard to envision us selling him..

I really don't understand why you'd be okay with selling Douglas Luiz, unless he wants to go of course. Selling a player as good as him and still as young as him is a small club move imo. Villa are a massive club, and now that their league position is in keeping with that the fans need to shift their thinking; a mid table team sells Luiz to cash in while they can bevause they won't win trophies even with a pmater that good, a top four team with title aspirations and UCL football keeps him because what he can bring in terms of league position and potential trophies is worth far more than £70M in your pocket. Of course, if he's chasing a move then definitely sell him . Never keep a player who'd rather leave, it doesn't work.

I agree with everything said about duran. Attitude is his main problem but if he could sort that attitude and ego to an extent, he will be world class. I have not doubt in that

find it mad how undervalued goal keepers are. mad. To us as a team, hes worth as much as watkins what he does for us. i wouldnt be happy getting less than £100m which essentially means i wouldnt sell him.

Unai Emery's son Lander Emery Fernández is supposed to be a very good goalkeeper. He joined Villa's under-21s team in January 2024 and was on the bench last game of season at Palace. He spends a lot of time after training with Martinez.

Villa don’t need a ‘rebuild’. You’ll probably see Diego Carlos be sold and some deadweight and that’s about it. Anything else will be small, smart signings.

As a Leicester fan, I understand the difficulty of being objective and saying you should sell player x or player y. I watched it happen to us, now we’re in the shit of PSR. It can happen in the blink of an eye, everything they said points towards selling Douglas Luiz. Don’t make the Ndidi and Tielemans mistakes we did.

digne is only on 120k according to footy manager, but thats still a hell lof a lot more than hes worth

To be honest, I don’t see much if anything wrong with that set a lists (maybe some ages). UpTheVilla and onward to next season.

Suggesting to Sell 10 plus players just isnt realistic though is it?

Sell Luiz, Diego Carlos, Duran and perhaps controversially, Watkins. Watkins, is a very good player obviously but I’m concerned at the chances that he doesn’t convert. Those players should generate close to 200m. I’d go for Soule, Gyokeres or Sesko, Ouedraogo, Diomande/Silva. Maybe even Gallagher too to put more engine into the midfield.

Luiz is far and away the easiest asset to replace, sell for £70/80m and help rebuild with 2/3 quality players. If our injuries are less harsh next year , we potentially dont even need to buy. Both Tielemans and Mcginn can play with Kamara, prob Barklay too. Top player but give his pens to Ollie and its two different stories. Sell at peak like you say Justin

How exactly do Villa line up in midfield next season anyway? If everyone's fit and you don't sell, Kamara plays as a 6 and then you've got Tielemans, Mcginn, Douglas Luiz, Bailey and maybe Ross Barkley and Conor Gallagher as well. That's surely way too many class players so what formation are we even going with here?

Unless the kids show signs of Kobee Mainoo levels, or like some of these liverpool lads, they have to be loaned off or sold. A bit harsh on Cash. I think Digne over Moreno just for consistency as Alex was simply not the same after his injury. But competition is needed at both full back positions. Agree with Justin, if we HAD to lose someone in the whole squad to get that FFP in-line then Dougie is probably the one at £60-£70m to re-invest. Carlos is also another option. All we need is a new backup goalkeeper, sell digne and bring in a new left back, I'd keep matty cash because we've got kosta nedjelkavic coming in providing competition at right back, due to kamaras injury keeping him out until maybe October we probably need a new defensive midfielder as cover (maybe ndidi on a free) I think we are pretty well stocked in Central midfield with mcginn, Luiz, Ramsey, teilemans, buendia, (probably Ross barkley as well) I think we might need one more winger? At the moment we have Diaby, Bailey and Morgan Rogers, so one more would give us two either side. And then we should probably move Duran on due to his attitude on social media etc there's maybe some truth in the rumours of a swap deal with him and Connor Gallagher from Chelsea?? If that ends up happening then I'm pretty sure no villa fans would complain about getting him!! But that leaves us with only ollie up front! With us being in the champions league I think we should be trying to get a really good backup and maybe trying one of the youngsters from the academy?? Also don't forget that cam archers coming back from Sheffield United! Whatever ends up happening it will definitely be one hell of a season!! UTV
