That's so funny. Both of my Children's Pythons are VERY social but no matter how insistent that they are that they want to come out, I can guarantee that as soon as I open their enclosure doors, they will take a quick drink before coming out.

She is John and l have bought her up into my room upstairs, l was missing her way too much her being downstairs. It is 1.34am here and l started rearranging the room, moving things here and there around 3 pm. Exhausted but so pleased to have her near me once again.
Is she a bit overweight? Shouldn't the head neck ratio be bigger? I mean no offense I just wonder🙂 What is the humidity and cold/Hotspot temperatures? The skintones are 🥰
l wish Lily was overweight, l feel she is way to skinny at this time, though having her vet checked they said she was a perfect size. l hae to say that her neck and head a rather small but that is just her build, all snakes can be a little different in that way. l keep her humidity around the 45 to 55 though it fluctuates, so long as it doesnt stay up in the higher levels for long periods of time or the lower l dont worry about it too much. Temps, well Lily doesnt like it too hot but for young snakes, keeping it at around the 32c is good, but as older snakes well 30c to 32c is fine, the cooler end, so long as it doesnt drop below 20c its all good but keeping where it is around the 24c is a good temp for them, Lily prefers the 30c moreso at the hot end. l have realised over the years, not one fit, fits all with snakes, Lily rarely goes under her heat, only when going through her shed cycle, others love going under their heat. No offence taken at all, l am open to anyone having an opinion whether it maybe a good or a bad one.
