If you can water every day the grass will stay lush pretty much guaranteed. But it only works if you have a weed n feed program going though.. or else after a year or two you get weird weeds that are fueled by all the water like gas on a fire.
Thanks for the advice. Going to keep doing it for now. In early June the center of the lawn was pretty yellow. Year over year I’m happy with the improvements.
Make sure to water the grass at night because 1. during the day it will just evaporate into the air and 2. The reflection of the water on grass it will burn it.
That's not right from my experience. I did it that way for a while years ago...leads to fungus and many other problems. But don't take my word for it. Check out the article about watering I linked in the description. But I can confirm from personal experience and research that watering at night is a bad idea.
