Super Jason! Your boy had that "born to be wild" look in his eye. I felt the same way when I got a Honda 50 in ~ 1960. I rode up and down the street in front of our house before I was turned loose on the world.

we've been looking at these kinds of bikes for a while. We already have beach cruisers that we use to take the dog on a run...my fear is that once I get electric power then i'll peddle less which will lower my exercise experience. That said, i love the idea of having a little electric vehicle to zoom around.

I have watched a couple other RU-vid channels review these. You seemed to actually enjoy it. Of course that made me want one.

In the beginning of the video you made a joke about chaining up your bike. Now this no joke and you can try it out for yourself. I grew up for a time in the 1960s on Bainbridge island in puget sound and as a kid I had a paper route that stretched for about 5 miles. Now when it snowed I would have to deliver my papers on foot or figure something else out. What I did was I took some 1/4 inch cord and tied one end to a spoke. Then I wrapped the cord around the tire with one wrap between each spoke so each wrap had about 3/4s of an inch to 1 inch between each wrap. Wrap the whole rear tire and the front tire. My bike had coaster brakes not hand brakes so this worked very well. No joke, I delivered papers this way. I could cover my whole route twice before the cord would wear out and I would have to fix it. This really works. You can't ride fast but I got to where I was pretty good in the snow. No joke, try it

kool great review! and seeing your son on there encourages me as I might be able to ride that too. Im 6'6" 217 lbs and have a schwinn mtb that Ive riden a lill bit. i have that model in my cart & when I was thinking of getting it - the price went up, I like that hemi cruiser, Id add an adjustable stem and a suspension seat post for a better fit to me. really appreciated seeing your son ride that too :) Im 63 now and no kids [just the kid in me wants an ebike] my drive has about 26% on the end, but the rest to the county rds about 10% in theses woods are miles of roads to explore. about 7 miles away are paved [city folk] paved trails going across the State of Idaho. along the CDA river the CDA lake and others. Id like to see that and branch off to other roads of the St Joe and those in Montana. a bit too much to get bored of seeing the same ole things. ;)

Ha Jason nice bike. You know one of the neatest things about riding a bike is that you never forget how to fall off. Even though it was a short test ride I'm impressed with the power that is available to the rider. Does it have regenerative braking? Great video thumbs up.

I wondered how many helmets you wore when you were a kid.probably like me ,none.we couldn't afford helmets plus they didn't even make them for bikes that i remember.get some baseball cards for the wheels.
