Hi ! I think that Airpulse A80 win on all points if we can boost a little the frequencies between 140hz to 270hz (see the curve on video), then his sound will be more balanced and natural.
I'm a little lost, how is possible that edifier did better than Kef? In all website, magazine etc we see kef kef kef and nothing about edifier, almost never, it's crazy.
There is problem with mic placement method - we hear full trebles of A80 but not from KEF. Vertical axis is most important factor, because usually anything off more than 20° angle makes it trash. Ribbon tweeter on A80 is placed higher, also tweeter itself is higher. Kef have trebles inside mid/woofer on center, while mic placement is not adjusted. KEF LSX is far superior, just not recorded properly.
If you like the bright high frequency then A80 all the way, but some ppl might feel it is too bright. Might have to lower the treble by one db.Couldn’t tell much difference in mid and low. By the way, a80 is a much more reliable active speaker and cost less than half of lsx
A80 sounds better, more open sound. The voice is better on A80 also. KEF have more dark signature, may be they will be less fatigue for long listen. But, is there a difference in resolution? It's impossible to understand from youtube. Does KEF's worth twice the price of A80?
The KEFs does sound a tinny bit more wide than the A80s, but response is flatter on the Airpulse. Both seems to hold pretty well on nearfield, but I would suspect the KEFs might do better in soundstage consistency, due to their coax design. The bass should probably be equal if not just sounding a bit fuller on the KEF.
The A80 would've benefit greatly from a bigger driver and a slightly less recessed ribbon tweeter, because it is super precise and as a result the kef's are wider and presents a fuller bass response. The Airpulse was designed by Phil Jones, so the expectation on them to be perfect is high and with that hefty price tag they certainly do have flaws compared to rivals. Overall I'll take the LSX but on a budget the Airpulse is a great option, picked a set up yesterday for just under $300 and at that price its an amazing set.
I bought me a pair of a80 they are great! Better looking than i though bigger than i though and so great sound no issues at all with the basses it kudt great bang for buck just get it in the worst case if you r a bass head just add a sub!
I would gladly take the LSX for the same price of the A80 for the sound stage, the defined bass and comfortable treble. But A80 is significantly lower priced, which is a real bargain for a speaker with dark bass and accurate treble.
KEF wins for me. The Airpulse sounds compressed/struggling in the lows when the kicks come in. KEF sounds like it is more dynamic. KEF also has better low mids

A100 is a more well balanced speaker. Stronger in the lows. It's a tiny bit bigger. A200 and A300 are even bigger, but for me the A100 is spot on. Also because it is white.
@@DSAUDIOreview thanks, but what about the mid and low frequencies? The bass is much inferior to the a80, they are less than the s2000mk3, so the bass and the middle are worse? In general, as a class in terms of sound, what would you recommend?

That depends. If you care about fidelity and want to use them in the nearfield than A80 all the way. For TV use and casual listening S2000MKIII is better choice

Basovik 4.5 for a80 versus 5.5 for 2000mk. How much difference does it feel? If you buy a sub Edifier T5 for a80, will it noticeably add to it in sound? It's just that s2000mk has no access to the sub = (

Комната и перезапись на микрофоны. Суть не в том, чтобы узнать качество звучания каких-то колонок через видео (это невозможно), а в том, чтобы в равных (пусть и неидеальных) условиях понять разницу между ними.
@@andm2962 в старых роликах у него звук был норм,я купил так а300 и они звучат так же,имеется ввиду звуковая подпись,но в реале качество еще лучше чем с ютуба звук
