I love how it starts up slow, and soft, thinking it going to end then she gradually gets louder with her elelctric piano, then electric gutiar I think put some kick in it. Don't even expect it either...love Keiko...so mysterious!
Every tune I hear of Keiko’s, I think, this is my absolute favorite. And then I hear another, and, it’s my absolute favorite too? She’s just that good. Every one of her musical pieces deserves a place at the top. I have other favorite artists, but none of them come in with such superb consistency as Keiko. There just isn’t a number she does that I don’t like. Whether solo on the piano, or supported by a host of other musicians, she just brings it home.
Ladies and Gentlemen. This lady is an awesome musician and a great person. Her music is very beautiful and soothing. If you are looking for some peaceful music to reconnect with happiness, this music is it.
Kappa - one of my fav compositions by Matsui-san. Also me really happy she played Kappa on her live show in my city this year =) And me really love her (and my ^_^) Yamaha SY77!! Super synth-workstation! (but VERY bulky and heavy)
Keiko Matsui is one of the main inspirations behind why I learned to play the piano in the first place... her music is powerful on a whole other level.
Matsui if you ever read these words if I had the money to travel like I want to I would pay and travel to every one of your beautiful and spiritual performances. Your music definitely stimulate the Chakras
As to the guitar not being right ...a matter of taste, don't you think? at about 3:35 I start liking it, at 4:25 I'm really diggin' it, and by 4:55 I'm high to the end of the piece.
