Although her music on CD is awesome, seeing the way Keiko “brings it” in her live production, one instantly realizes something is lost in the one dimensional aural universe that is the CD. The power, potent enthusiasm, and passion she puts into her music can only be appreciated in her live performance.
i love keiko just like anyone else, but let's not overlook the saxophonists, guitarists, and drummers that make this music beautiful. keiko has never tried to make her music a "one-woman show." she knows that without them, it wouldn't be the same.
Yea, most Japanese musicians seem to be masters of their arts...as for beauty, again I have to agree..buy Nakajima Miyuki at 55 takes some beating, not to mention her incredible talents..we are luck to have this medium...
try as i might... i cant see this song being used in western film... but for some reason i could see an anime fight choreographed to this in a heart beat.
