Words cannot explain this amazing song. Musical artists like these are so rare and we with the finer taste in music should all be grateful for Keiko Matsui. I know that these songs are going to end up on my iPod. It would be so nice to fall asleep to this song or to wake up to it. Listening to this song as you fall asleep would definitly give you some very sweet dreams.
All I feel is love when listening to this. I share it anytime I get the chance to. It's one of my go to songs when I'm feeling down. 😍❤💙💚💛💜 Peace and love to all.
I was lucky enough, to have met her, 15 years ago, when I attended a small outdoor, afternoon concert at North Star, Lake Tahoe, Ca. She was a Child prodigy who I believe set the bar. Who is she inside herself, the type that goes to a receiving area, after her performance, sitting at a table, wanting to meet every person who just heard her play. It is humbling to see her, being one of us, as she looks into your eyes, devouring the dialog between the two of you. She is a "Once in a life time"
Thank you for this post. There isn’t another pianist-past or present-who conveys such emotion and liveliness in their music. Maybe it’s the influence of her Japanese culture that brings all that out or perhaps it is in her way of fusing an ancient, yet prodigious musical culture with new-age flair? Whatever it is, it is pure musical magic, and pure genius.
Her music is so meditative. Such a strong focus. Watching Keiko perform is like watching magic take place. She not only plays the piano...she becomes her music. So beautiful even after all this time.
I was in complete awestruck when I saw her live a month back. She is absolutely amazing and completely plays with her heart in her. This song is truly beautiful. I wish so badly I could find this version of it.
to Technimouse: She came to the Pontiac Arts, Beats and Eats along with her band, and she made the place move with her music. Alexander Xonjic and a few other smooth jazz artists were there as well Keiko put everyone else to shame! That was the first time I took my friend to this type and she loved it!
If anyone has never seen her "Light Above The Trees" video (VHS from PBS), I strongly suggest you get it. It was a concert she did in San Francisco Palace Of Fine Arts in '97.....it's great.....Water Lily is as beautiful as she is.....WOW :)
perfect piano artist:)) she play with heart all the time , is a blessing that she share here music to the world. is so great!!! i am a big fan of here, a big ikon. one of the best female piano artist in the world, maybe the best!!!!
Absolutely inspirational and uplifting, there is an ethereal joy to this piece that pierces the heart with Light and giddy tranquility. Thank you for sharing this, subarashii!!!
In March she is performing in Opera theatre in city of Donets'k In Ukraine. This is great event for our city and I hope I'll be able to visit this performance.
Keiko is so beautiful in her gift.. she completely fills my heart with laughter as i feel tears run from my eyes and down my cheeks... a very amazing quality she has to be able exude such sexiness in her person and still retain the excitement and enthusiasm of a child experimenting with fun and mastery of newfound skills! It is like watching the unfolding of new universes within the cosmos! A sensation of life spilling across me with laughter and exuberance for loving people of the world!
