Ironically he would have came in at the perfect time to protect people from the coming economic crisis. This might actually fundamentally change how the public see labour and the economy as its the first time in recent memory that labour will get power in an economic crisis the very party you need in in times like these. Can I counter with another proposal we make him Prime Minister of the UK and then undo that whole war of independence thing and make you British again. straight off the bat, you get paid Maternity and Paternity leave, you also get a legal minimum of 28 days of paid holiday a year, as well as universal healthcare and compulsory paid sick leave, and all of these things, are from day 1 you don't have to wait to "earn the right" to them. We will also throw in vastly superior food safety and nutrition laws (cheese in a can and anything by Kraft is not food it's a war crime), as well as sensible gun controls as in the UK you do have a right to a gun but you have to get a full check from the police and your doctor as well as you having to have an interview on why you want a gun and an inspection on where you are going to keep it to make sure no one gets hurt by it. And not even on their most objectionable day are the UK police anywhere near as corrupt and idiotic as our American cousins.

It's funny, Boris basically says the same thing at 2:35 - I imagine it would have been a hell of a lot better. Can you imagine how much better a fully funded NHS would have handled Covid? Can you image how a discounted nationalised public transport system could have taken the sting out of petrol costs? Can you image how the much free national Internet would have helped home working! Missed opportunity.

Then watch absolutely nothing change because as we’ve seen the last 3 years, he has had absolutely no opposition to any actual policies, and these soundbites mean absolutely nothing when their voting record has been in full support of what they sell themselves on being against. It’s a shame at how everyone seems to pay no attention to what politicians are actually voting on and end up supporting them from sound bites like this rather than take into account an awful track record of saying one thing and doing another whilst becoming very rich. I think you will be really disappointed when that wealth gap gets wider and we all get poorer and continue to see policies which seem to only benefit corporations.

I actually have a genuine question about Scottish independence. Now I hope my question isn't rude or antagonist or anything of that sort but, I must ask... ...what will you do afterwards? What I mean is what would an independent Scottish nation actually do? I know you'd probably rejoin the EU, if the EU allows you back in of course but then what? What will make an independent Scottish government better than the current United Kingdom government? I understand that they say that they'll respect the rights and freedoms of Scottish people but I mean, they're politicians, do you really believe their word? Again, I hope I don't come off as rude.
