I used to love Joe as a teenager until I realised from the moment pride and prejudice came to him he was already with Rosamund pike who desperately and expected to play Lizzie/the lead, managed to talk nonsense like this video and give her the smaller role… then break up with Rosamund and date Keira. If I was Rosi I’d feel so jilted, and I think she’s actually AMAZING in the film bc her character is so subdued she could have faded SO EASILY but she is the definition of graceful introversion throughout. Joe Wright is great at what he does but he’s a pretty shitty human being imo

And Pride and Prejudice is set in the Regency Period, when reigns of monarchs are used for eras, the dates are exact, not approximate, and the society and style is also completely different than what is typically associated with "the Victorian era".

Other films with Knightly set in the Victorian era? Or her "period films" in general (anything not set in the present)? It seems that the person doesn't even know himself what they mean. If you bother to comment, whether for praise or for criticism, why not bother to even make that much effort? And why would anyone regard you as qualified to judge if you don't?

It was so long before I put the beautiful girl with the sweeping locks of hair on Pirates together with the hair up in a bun girl of P &P. Once someone told me they were the same person, I had to go look to see. I was stunned. Amazing actor she is and when she's on screen, you are mesmerized and can't look away, but I think it's her smile.

Their rizz, posture, how they move, even smell. (Along w makeup, hair, and clothes that day.) I used to crush on guys, then if I didn't like them esp if they were mean/arrogant, they got uglier to me lol. (And vice versa.) I bet if you met her in person esp back then, you wouldn't say she's mid.

I'm not going to name names, 'cause fanboys and girls would jump all over me...but many of our best actresses are not all that pretty, although when they're made up for a glam/sexy role, they look great. That's kind of my point.

It makes sense for Pride and Prejudice, because the older sister (Jane?) was supposed to be the far more conventionally attractive one in the book afair.
