I think I've used that recipe too. And it is delicious!! I don't care for chocolate cake but that recipe makes the best cake. So moist and melt-in-your-mouth perfection.

as a person with an eating disorder, sometimes this show is something I can't watch but more often than not I watch it while eating because its much easier to eat with Keith than by myself. I know that isn't the purpose, but thank you Keith. it really helps
I completely agree with you on this! I too have an eating disorder and I find it much easier to eat when watching certain episodes. I get a lot of anxiety around eating with people but when it comes to Keith, he makes me feel calmed down and like I’m allowed to feed myself with his welcoming personality.

As someone that used to work at Carls Jr, I can say the shakes there are made different than most places. We literally put 3 scoops of ice cream, the flavor, and whole milk in the cup and blend it. So yeah, it’s going to be more buttery and rich, and I love it
Someone in the midwest book Lewberger so Keith can do a Culver's eat the menu! Also, I'm sad to learn that Hardee's no longer has the cinnamon raisin biscuit. That was always my favorite.
I haven't had everything on the Culver's menu but I've had a good amount. I don't think it will disappoint Keith too much. There are things that you can pass on obviously. Looking on the website, they'll be in Illinois and Ohio
Also, how convenient for the show is it that each sandwich has its name right on the wrapper? Keith needs this from all the places so he doesn't lose track like he usually does.

There's a surprising amount of items that Carl's Jr. has that Hardee's doesn't. Like chicken stars, or Fried zucchini, but when Keith said "They don't even sell tacos here" that blew my mind, every Hardee's in the midwest that I've been to has Tacos and Burritos etc. on the "Red Burrito" menu. They're fantastic
Hearing "Hardee's doesn't sell fried chicken" more than once in this surprised me... because I worked there for a while in the 2010s and mine most assuredly did sell fried chicken. Kept it in a warmer in the front, was one of the few food items front end employees like me packed up, was pretty darn popular at my store. And we were corporate, not franchise... so maybe some franchisees choose not to sell fried chicken? But it definitely was not completely done away with in the late '90s like Keith claims.
Yeah I lived near a Hardee’s growing up and my family loved the fried chicken there. We would go Sunday’s afternoon and get fried chicken once every few months or so, it was literally the only fast food place we ever ate at. Maybe it’s a Hardee’s vs Carl’s Jr. thing? I would think the menu would be the same though.
@@Jlowrey8 it seems like several things are different, but maybe it varies by region. I've been to Hardee's in several Midwest states and the ones a lot of the menu items they have weren't on this list and there were other items that they did have that we don't.

I really feel like Hardee's deserves its own video tbh. Pretty much everything at Carl's Jr. is different from the Hardee's I grew up on (which is in Wisconsin). Hardee's here is known for their breakfast, especially the biscuits and gravy, because all of the biscuits are made from scratch everyday. Carl's Jr. also has like way different sandwiches. The hot ham and cheese at Hardee's is like amazing somehow??? It's literally just microwaved ham and swiss cheese on some bread but man is it good.
As someone who moved from Hardee’s territory to Carl’s Junior territory in 2018, I completely agree. They really arent the same. I was told they were but the menus are quite different just similar and owned by the same people.
The charbroiled chicken is probably the worst thing that carls serves. That and the beyond patty which is not vegetarian or vegan at all. It's coated in beef juice and goes through the same machine that beef goes into
Let’s not gatekeep. Cross contamination does not make a vegan product suddenly nonvegan, and thinking such invalidates vegans who don’t have any other options (food desert, diabetics, and such.

If Keith heads back to the midwest anytime soon, I'd like to see him eat the menu at Hardees because it looks like there's actually a lot of differences between the menus. There's some crossover, but enough is different it would still be a lot of food even if he only ate the different things.
They’re all over the south too, or at least where I’m from in SE Tennessee. So if Keith heads back that way, he could do it there too! Plenty of opportunities for both trips, I’d assume.
I am NOT Team Alex, but I will say this: he has NEVER, in all my Eat the Menu viewing history, refused to eat something. Has he whined? Yes. Has he retched? Yes. Has he declined to try something? Absolutely not. Proud of him, his personal growth, and for him shaming Hughie lol
I don’t know why not refusing to eat something in these videos is supposed to be commendable. These are fast food places. Nothing there are supposed to be weird or exotic or gross.

Keiths "eat everything" series is my comfort series and unless i watch it i cannot for the life of me fall asleep. No matter how many times i watch an episode, its still comforting. Now, ive tried to watch this episode AT LEAST 4 times and every time i fall asleep before the 10 minute mark😭 Man i love this series!
