I’m so happy Dee had this stance because I really felt like I was going crazy. I 100% felt that Keith was being petty as hell all throughout this experience. It was never that deep and all he did was make people question the way he’s been portraying himself.

She had to practice an entire rap, and show run on a script, while still working on two personal projects. She is busy, and looking up a food reviewer does not at all touch the priority list. They told her who he was, and his significance and what seat. It was on them to put him in that seat, so she could keep the show moving. It's a 30 second interaction. Keith is not THAT important, and his reaction was dramatic and ridiculous as all hell. If anything the confusion actually projected him and Jordan even higher than it would've been if she just said hi Keith and kept it moving. The amount of stuff that goes into hosting these shows, practicing timing, constant script changes to be effective, camera placement rehearsals, keeping energy up, etc.. and you want her to throw in googling every person she doesn't know that she MIGHT come into contact with if a seat is changed? The segment was about giving flowers to people doing their big one within the community… respectfully, if you don’t even know who you’re supposed to give the flower to, then it doesn’t feel genuine and Keith shouldn’t feel forced to accept it. Taraji didn’t even know how to say Halle’s name correctly even though they’re in a movie together. The whole segment gave messy.

His main mistake was throwing that rose on the floor especially without context, that caused all of this to blow out of proportion. Besides that it’s really BET fault, they switched the seats without letting taraji know, and you’re scripted to mention someone you should at least know their face, a lot of people are excusing taraji but all it takes is a quick glance to know who you’re talking to. Yes it was petty and very ignorant for Keith to throw that rose on the floor but, honestly who wants something out of pity that wasn’t even whole heartedly for them?
