I'm a white woman and absolutely enthralled by a lot of the dancing. There's a fair amount of protocol involved in Pow Wow and various individual forms. One of the ones that I remember is that in Haudenosaunee women's social dance, the women are only supposed to lift one foot at a time. A lot of times I find myself feeling more energetic than that but I still try to limit myself to that rule. It makes the game more fun. I'm just a dirty old Tsalagi lady
