I was 16 in 1996 when Nobody came out and I had the CD single. I used to play that on repeat everyday before school. Till this day at 44 I can listen to that song on repeat all day especially Athena Cage verse. My grandma died in 2015 at 95yrs old and she used to tease me at that old age how I played Nobody on repeat daily in High School

Played at the cookouts, events, parties , clubs but can’t even get an award. SMH. Artists like Mint Condition, Joe, Jodeci, SWV, Tupac etc. I’m just stating artists we appreciate in our community but the Grammys and awards don’t show their real impact
