This is the kind of rockin' country that I love and Keith was the first artist to do it. This was mine and my wife's wedding dance song and we both loved it... 2 days shy of our 9 year anniversary on May 19th 2020, and 4 days shy of being 38, she went home to be pain free finally. One day she woke up perfectly fine and by that night passes away. She stayed long enough to say good night to our kids then took her last physical sleep here on earth. She always wanted to see Keith in person and so did I, but the closest he ever got was Sacramento, CA and that's 3hrs away and we were always broke... I'm doing what I can to get through this and be there for my 3 children, the youngest being ours, but it is so hard some times. I don't find any real joy in anything right now. I go to church and just ball my eyes out during worship cuz she's not there to watch give her soul to God even though she knew she had a horrible voice. I'm a mess and I hate it cuz this isn't me, but I'm told to give myself grace and as much time as I need to grieve no matter what anyone else says. I lean harder than ever on God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, than I have in my life, but I look down at my feet and I can't see the path I'm to walk anymore. I look up and I can see the path quite a ways off in front of me though. I look around me and I see the loved ones looking at me and letting me know they're there for me and with me, and I see Jesus right next to me crying for my pain and loss, but at the same time holding onto me letting me know He's there too and that I'll get through this as long as I hold on to Him as he will guide me through the valley of death.

i just realized how long it's been and how good it feels to sit and play music, not for some special reason or for someone else but just for me to kick back and listen to. when i first came on google, it was more so i had access to youtube, and occasionally i would make a comment or 2 but then i started getting some feedback on the music and some of the things i said. tonight takes me back there and i think i started forgetting my own love for just listening and enjoying my great love of music.. i still want others to enjoy, but tonight i think it's my own selfishness for my thirsty ears....keith has always been able to quench them too.
