Late summer 2009, fiancee and I were driving home and I first heard this song. I remember looking out the window and crying, He had been diagnosed with Cancer and passed in march of 2010. Everytime I hear this song I'm looking out the window of the car again. I have since married but man, this song kicks my butt....

I lost my father before he saw me married at our town's altar. We bumped heads often on which lion was king. I never chased him farther than the pen he built for me. And now i see why he fenced off the sunset side.. The world is cold for those unable to right the wrongs of sold souls but we all pray we reach the light.. Until father comes around.

This song reminds me of my life. I lived in South Korea for one year. I met a wonderful woman close to the end of my time there (four months until I had to go). We both fell in love deeply in that short period of time. From March till the end of July. When I had to leave I thought about this song, till summer comes around. Leaving her was hard because I had to move to Georgia in Eastern Europe. As luck would have it, she is originally from Russia so getting to Georgia was simple for her. We are now together :)

I believe we all can relate to this. We meet someone special and its just wrong timing, paths crossed at wrong time. This happen with me about a girl I would see every summer when i was a teenager, that I had the biggest heart for... for 34 years I thought of her , even through two marriages. Two weeks ago we reunited, both of us single , and its like we never parted and now we are going to see how this journey may end.... never give up hope..

Unbelievable how a song can take you back and reach deep into your heart. I'm old and very happily married now, but this so takes me back to an early teenage sweetheart I used to see each summer at the beach. We grew up best of friends until our teenage years when we just lost touch. I still think of her occasionally to this day. So tender.

This brings back memories of when I was 16. This was back in 1996. I went with my family for a 4 or 5 day weekend camping trip. I met this girl. We spent a lot of the time together. the last night I was there we spent time on the beach. I told her that I had to leave. She said she would be back next year. Her parents had purchased a summer long permanent site for their camper. We were about to say good bye. She gave me a quick kiss on the lips. I froze. She said good bye and walked off. I was there the next year. She wasn't there. I did ask about the history of the spot. I was told they decided not to pay for the year. I don't know what happened to her or her family. She was my first serious crush though and first kiss. Not sure if she thinks of me. But once in a while I will think of her.

There was a girl I knew in school in 7th to the 10th grade. I had the biggest crush on her but our lives never really crossed. We both married other people and had children. We both devorced and thought I lives were coming to the last quater alone then I met her for the 1st time in 45 years. That was over a year ago and i very recently asked her to marry me, she said she waited all her life for me to come along. We are getting married once Covid is gone hopefully by June. This is THE song that introduced me to Keith ❤. I had temporarily lost my eyesight in 2009. I could only listen to the radio and I heard this song and was completely overwhelmed by it. Once I had my vision back, I saw the video and about lost my mind! I then began following KU and I learned not only about his music and his story, but I was learning all about the rich history of country music. I began reading things about the history of our Country as I learned the history of country music. This song, this remarkable artist, brought so much into my world! So, 'til Summer Comes Around", is Keith Urban's most significant song for me.
