I inherited one of these types of guns from my dad. It was filthy and had to be cleaned. I could have never gotten the firing pin back to the correct alignment without this video.

Just a Tip: unlike the P3AT, the P-32 slide locks back. Use the mag to lock back the slide for both dis/reassembly. The Take Down Pin is much easier to remove and put back into place with the slide locked back. This feature, IMO, is an advantage in the P-32. I love a Chromed P-32! Best Pocket pistol out there with 7,65 Browning loads.

You should check your firing pin while out of the gun for burrs. I had one get stuck in the forward position due to burrs on the end of the fp. K/T sent me another & a spring for free. They have very good customer service.

My p3at neede a 5/64th hex key to pull the firing pin. Definitely SAE. I'm getting occasional light strikes and failure to fully go into battery (gets hung up on the extractor). I honestly can't recall if I had problems when I first bought this many years ago. I pocket carried it a while and shelved it for some years. Pocket carry is a good way to turn a pistol into a big unreliable bundle of lint! I hope this last bit of cleaning which included the firing pin assembly does the trick...

roadkingdave Sorry I did not mention that, I would use any Low to Medium Strength Removable Thread Lock Compound made for small screws. Usually for me that is Loctite 242 because it is readily available at most Hardware Stores and Home Depot, Lowes and Ace Hardware, I have used it for 30+ years and it is removable even on very small screws.

What is the point of the extra power firing pin spring? Wouldn't wouldn't that make the gun more prone to light strikes?

Walt Wolff Sr. started W. C. Wolff Company in 1951, they have been serving the gun community for over 65 years, so I guess they are pretty good at what they do. In this case, without knowing for sure, my guess is the spring is only slightly "Extra Power", and since I haven't heard of any problem, I don't believe this is an issue. If you install this kit, and have a problem with FTF you think might be caused by the firing pin rebound spring, then your best bet would be to put the stock rebound spring back in. Great video except I think my P32 must be old because it doesn't have an Allen screw on top to remove the firing pin and spring. I had mine in storage for about 8yrs or so and I took it out to test fire it. Click! It strikes the round, leaves a pin impression in the round (s) but will not fire! I disassembled it and took a look but I don't see anything wrong. The impressions on the misfired rounds are slightly off center but I don't really know if that's the issue. Any thoughts?

I had the same problem when I first bought it (used) when using CCI Blazer ammo. I sent it back to Kel-Tec and they fixed it. I assume they installed a new Hammer Spring and Firing Pin. They also told me not to use Blazer - or any ammo with hard primers. That was my experience, of course yours may vary ;-) Good Shooting, Lance
